SM missed the chance of making Perfect Velvet look like this. The box packaging and the size of the photobook is so ideal! There are also so many inclusions!
yeah, i genuinely don't hate jewel cases but the fact that perfect velvet was priced at the same amount as a "regular" album just didn't sit right with me (and especially now, because its a few years old and was never reprinted, sealed copies go for 40 bucks. 40 bucks for a jewel case. uh, no. and its my favorite album from the girls!!! i just cant justify that). there are so many ways to make jewel case albums or "unconventional" packaging worth it, and sm really missed the mark with red velvet.
@@arijeanz their second album was that era which is so remarkable in their career, and SM chose to make their best concept photos be in just a small and a bit thin kind of photobook and just ten photocards for all the members...they could've done more than that. I wish they did make an 8-inch and 100-page photobook like this for both Perfect Velvet and TPRV, because the concepts deserve more than just being in a small one.
And the repackaged album The perfect red velvet could be designed like a comic book which was kinda the concept of that era. I keep saying this, waisted potential it is
