Definitely we need to get the juggling back inna di dancehall .. fulltime dem artists and some producers put dem ego aside and get back some big juggling like back inna di 2000s
real talk mi Dj ☝
djeasy big up yeah ah true yuh a chat back inna di 2000s dem greensleeves rhythm we used to get all like 20 plus songs pn a riddim ,yuh nuh see dem things nowadays because artists and producer start pick side and make camps and that fuck up di music
Real talk
@@dancehallreggae528 and even tho 20 song on a riddim all a them hit, remember say the riddim them hit before a song even hit I remember when me use to go passa passa and dutty Fridays and them place the producers use to bring the riddim and the djs use to put them on in the prime a the dance and say a new riddim no song no voice on it yet and the dancers them a dance down the place and then you start hear the song dem after that
Nice interview
In my opinion the internet kill juggling. Anybody can record, produce and drop a song that same day. Sometimes the dj dem don’t want compete wid a next dj on the same riddim so dem do dem own thing.
Great interview
Onea my biggest motivation as a producer.....a him mech mi push myself suh hard......chimney, Rvssian and jahvy.......my biggest motivators
I respect Jordan Chimney he's good for the music business Ari Naro bless up 🇯🇲
U will nah see good juggling again
For real
Alkaline make all a dem producer switch up Chimney sunshine leemiler wul a dem stop voice a bunch a artist caz a Alkaline now dem fall out dem a bawl bout unity
Exactly.. him diss kartel fi alka n look deh now
Real talk
We need to start using the word "counteraction" again oppose to "diss". Artist affi put the ego aside and allow others to counteract a song without malice
Bredda them have too much dunce friend around them so even if a man counteract them song a little man ago say boss you no hear the bowy a diss you, you wah me go shell them and no see say a just music them young yah now a days soft
I miss juggling In dancehall it's one of the reason I fell in love with dancehall music since was young Africa💥
We need more juggling too much singles that don’t work in the parties need back the 20+ songs on a riddim
Nah it’s just they r putting out too much music that’s not made for parties
From Producers start rep clique/groups juggling started declining , to much politics

Di genius did it right.
@@dereck4187 to whom ?
@@dereck4187 Genius Master and completed the game! that's why he left - the man had gully vs gaza on same riddim (that would never ever happen again)
@Mr. Lex yes u can have in house producer but it should never limited to artist who under the camp I think long time it's crazy
Juggling is dead. The power dynamic has shifted from the producer to the artists. An artist has more control when releasing singles instead of waiting on a producer’s timeline to drop a whole project. It’s would be great if there was more of a balance, but it will never get back to where it was.
Big up the fix fi this interview, big up Jordan n Hizzle and the entire chimney records - Jordan have the right mindset to develop our music
Mi feel young artist dem feel too much ego,,Dem nid Fi humble an such producers will gee Dem riddim
( *bawdacat voice* ) dat will never happen
But the producers them only want voice big artiste it's more easier now to produce your own music suh when them mek it on them own them nuh want see the producers

nowadays artiste are divas n nt ghetto stars
Tell dem Jordan, the love of dancehall/reggae music and the culture!!
👍 Real Musical discussion the artist dem need to unite and push the business forward
Yep unity bring more people towards the movement
A juggling with 3 high profile artistes on it can run a young producer into up to 6/7K US DOLLARS cause every artiste a tell the young producer dem all 3K Fi record... Then you need promotion budget and post production funds, the bigger producers like Jordan probably don't get charged for songs... So that crush juggling...
real talk iyon
To be honest, it was Kartel who helped kill juggling when he basically controlled notnice to only voice Gaza artists. That's the first time that happened in dancehall
Mine them vex with u
I love the fact that this discussion even started, its a step in the right direction,Big up the fix
Big up Jordan, good interview.
I mean, as an art form, juggling should increase but u don’t have to be on jugglings to have a career and support worldwide, this 2021 thing here is moving towards a digital/global market, opportunities are there more now than ever to get noticed by different demographics of people without juggling, especially if disc jockeys stop extortion 😂
PS u can also come together without doing jugglings
GOOD GOOD PRODUCTION DON'T TAKE SIDES
Good good work wid vado n Kartel upto this day an still creating the biggest juggling bwoi chimney dem pick side then dem get bench an a bawl peace
And producers need to bring back some riddims the gyuls can wine on... We DJs got to dip into too much old school when we want to make the gyul dem bruk out... This trap beat shit has no marketability worldwide... Especially for the females... And it's the females that dictate what's hot... That's y Dancehall falling off from years before
Good Point Dj

There's no reason to form unnecessary relationships with cashier. Regardless of who you are you should be getting the same level of professionalism... Too much knowings... Call some of dem eidiot artists and producers name that a pree segregation in the industry
When you say Dancehall you say juggling. That's why my playlist stop at 2012. maybe 2016. But all 80s-2000s for me
Juggling is needed bck inna di dancehall...bring bck di 90s and 2000s...
Yuh have uh point, language is very clear, decline, not stop...........and yuh seh, bring it forward pun uh level...........and yes, de singer only waan sing.....but de producer or riddim creator is responsible fuh juggling, set de pace.
Watching from Antigua #268
Simple as this dancehall had the key to success they ruined it with trap dancehall all they had to do was continue making authentic dancehall which the world 🌎 already loved that’s y reggeaton and dembow taking over global because they make old school dancehall with modern sounds which Jamaica should’ve done instead of trying to be like Americans with trap 🤦🏽♂️simple
Yes that is so true. Exactly I have been saying this when Squash release trending.
The Hip hop Cypher That is from Toasting And juggling
Jordan a lie u are tell , Afro is never cometh from dancehall music. Africa music ever the oldest n biggest.

I feel like Dancehall is at a crossroads. Dancehall is the dance version of reggae in its origin, and reggae music exclusively features the riddim and music. Throughout the history of reggae music we have classic riddims, from every era and incorporating every influence. We have a wealth of musical talent in Jamaica that much is clear not only in reggae but in all the others that it has influenced. There is a reason reggae is played in every country. The sun never sets on reggae music. The producer therefore has a special position in our music. Every reggae fan can name you a classic riddim they love, often from every decade. All those good vibes we associate with our favorite versions and our favorite songs on them have engrained a strong culture in jamaican peoples souls. Im not saying we should do away with trap dancehall. I enjoy it. I would love to see it polished and marketed with intent like the old greensleeves and vp riddim releases. The power can still be in the artists hands i want that change to stay. But we are missing out on huge promotion and marketing opportunities so that the whole island of young talent can not only take care of themselves in this life but for the lives of their families for generations.
Real talk G
Why is this interview so short? Jordan a talk facts
Mi rate you bro gwaa do the good work.bless
Juggling. Chimney has a great point, juggling helped to expose unknown artistes.
The artist dem need to stop clique up wid the producers and work wid everyone... They stifling their own career trying to style other artist and producers

Juggling declined when Vybz Kartel only wanted members of his Gaza clan to voice with notnice and from their everybody started to follow. Bounty tried it with Alliance but it came in full effect with Gaza. Juggling was the reason dancehall became what it is. Its now on a downward spiral.
Yeah I miss jugglings
Top Artiste egos over the years had contributed in the riddim juggling declination. But regardless is the producers how are mostly intimidated in the situation. Artists work ethic also played the declination.

Juggling nuh gone nowhe.. chimney recently put out a riddim with ova 10 artists on it. They put out one B4 this one as well. Sponge recently put out one.. Javi put out one and I'm sure more producers put out juggling. I dont get it. Juggling isn't dead so what exactly are y'all saying?
Big names in dancehall need to be on the same riddim
@@KMEDDY-official who are those big names?
Too much segregation is the fault king cause to see masick, popcaan, alkaline, vado, skillibeng, law boss etc it would be big all if the riddim nuh dat hot but it nah go happen I remember riddim with vado, kartel, sasco etc but now theses likkle nowadays artiste dem to hype and too much of a ego
Juggling nice inno. But starts from the artiste creating cliques and crews and then them bring them producer friends tek it up and start bouncing the utes. So if me and you link and you and a man weh me link wid nuh deal me nah voice you or if I do it coulda mash up a friendship they had with the other artist.
