Why is it after all these years some appointed 12 person board is just suddenly installed ? You would believe that should have been in place years prior . Seems like this has been a overlook policy .

Public safety? We can barely keep police on the streets now at their increased wages. Wash Ave. gets primary coverage at 7pm on the weekends. Streets? We haven't seen any resemblance of how are streets are repaired/patched/fixed etc. No one is talking about how certain neighborhoods are HIRING their own security companies to monitor the neighborhoods to prevent package theft and vehicle break-ins. AND now we have a board setting in place to handle the residents concerns after the fact my money has been forced to be taken from my check for living here. Chicago (which Jones did not mention) does not charge an City Earnings Tax.

Taxation without representation! Every city that taxes that individual should have voting rights
