I have some old school clients using this model phone, great video for basic and some advanced features. I don't usually have to train them but they asked so this was helpful on some of the nuance that comes on this one, as basic as it looks. Thanks!
Incredible video. thank you very much. I'd like to make question. I have this phone with 3cx. When I do blind transfer sometimes the receiver is busy or didn't answer, do you know if there is a way to return the call to the original caller in case it happens. I was looking for but I didn't find it.
@@ramonpariente 3CX does have this feature and it's called "Callback" or "Transfer Back on Busy". This feature can be configured in the admin console at Settings > General > Transfer Back on Busy. Hope this helps!
You would need either a PBX or a Hosted Line. You'll also need an IP Phone. The phone well also need to be connected to the internet via a router or switch.
If you mean you want an analog phone to go over the internet, you can use an ATA device connected to a PBX, but if you don't have one you can use another service for VoIP such as magicJACK.

Hello Martin, I have problem with my sip phone, my user name and password can work with software sip phone, (tested with android, kos and windows) but when I put my user and pass to my sip phone always register failed, my ip phone yealink t31 and yealink t20, why this Problem can Happen to me.?
If it keeps saying Register Failure, even though that it's the correct credentials, it might be because of a multitude of reasons such as audio codec's, Yealink RPS lock, etc. When provisioning, try checking the 3CX Management Console Logs as it will help you determine the issue with the phone. @@ishanaggarwal93 I recommend 3CX as it is simple to use and provision. I have a video on provisioning this phone with 3CX as well. If you provision to the cloud with their supported method, it will work anywhere with internet.
@@Martin-NT thanks for update. I guess 3cx needs sip number. But in tanzania, there only mobile or land line number. No sip provider. Can we use our existing mobile numbers in tanzania to connect to 3cx if its somehow possible?
@@nra3009 BLF line keys are a function where it can monitor another extension, such as showing the busy status. Similar to a speed dial but kind of dynamic in a way.

@@Martin-NT I mean connect IP Phone just like normal and setup with 3CX or MAGIC JACK if this possible to call phone number not office just sim number
Yes, you can set the IP phone up with 3CX and hook up a sip trunk for outbound calls or use hosted lines from VoipMS or ring central.

Can i receive and make calls while travelling abroad on same number?
That will depends on your PBX and your configuration type. But yes, you can take this desk phone with you while travelling abroad.
