Continuity Error: This mission took place during the early part of GTA 4. In the original game, Alderney is not accessible to Niko during the early part. Niko should not have been in Alderney at this time.
I think it's forgivable because that seemed more like a gameplay mechanic than a big part of the story. There are no blockades in tlad even though there should be.
22:14 of pure storytelling and grit that GTA V couldn’t muster in its entire existence. The storyline set-up here alone is infinitely more captivating and well-written than anything in GTA V and makes me miss the old Rockstar Games.
This DLC has some of the best voice work and cutscenes in a game. The guy who voiced Billy Grey was perfect. On a side note it is rather disappointing that rockstar decided to murder the remainder of the cast in GTA V but maybe it wont be the end of the Lost. Truth be told rockstar tends to do that in their sequels. Previous characters are always getting killed off.

I just got episodes from Liberty City, this and Gay Tony. I just started Lost. I love it so far. Yes, I went thru a long break with no system. I got a PS4 in 2018, fell in love with GTA 5 and just got a PS3 and GTA 4 a few months back. GTA 4 is one of my favorite, maybe my favorite. I love the updated/HD Liberty City. I am currently beginning lost and trying to complete the stunt jumps on 4 and 5. I also want to go look at the Lost clubhouse in 4 to see if it looks the same on the outside because I'm weird like that
So basically a darker and realistic late 2000s but with a early 70s NYC-based setting version of "Easy Rider" (1969) but with guns, adult language, full frontal nudity, and blood but without the hippies and the 60s music. I like it.
TLaD is by far open of if not my favorite GTA incarnation. Great writing, great characters, great story, even if it's the shortest entry in the series. Johnny did not deserve the fate he received in GTA V.
It's so sad how all these guys died cause I loved the Lost MC and Johnny was my favorite Gta4 character I hope Rockstar comes back and realizes the mistake they made for killing these guys cause I'm pretty sure alot of people loved Johnny and the Lost MC

When I very first played gta 5 I didn't really play this yet so I didn't really know who trevor killed and then when I finally played this I was really sad :(
The thing is rockstar always has problems with the voice actors of the protagonists, I can give you the example of Michael Hollic (can't remember the spelling), the voice actor of Niko, then Young Maylay the voice actor of CJ, that's why they don't include them in other GTA's (apart from Claude because he's a silent protagonist and didn't have a voice actor)

The thing is rockstar always has problems with the voice actors of the protagonists, I can give you the example of Michael Hollic (can't remember the spelling), the voice actor of Niko, then Young Maylay the voice actor of CJ, that's why they don't include them in other GTA's (apart from Claude because he's a silent protagonist and didn't have a voice actor)

@@popularsensai if i remember correctly, michael hollick's problem was more with actor unions rather than rockstar itself, and how they allowed actors to have such a low pay despite playing big roles in videogames purely out of ignorance of how big they could actually be, as was the case with GTA IV, where Hollick realized that gta was a big franchise after signing the contract.
