Good advice with positioning there mate I've had a few injuries in the same eye. The last one was the final straw as I burnt layers of skin from my retna and had a bad black eye. Looked like I'd had a kicking. I now never work above shoulder hight without my safety specs on just not worth the risk
Very good video as my first shot on a ceiling i done everything the hard way, stretching and plaster direct hit in my eyes,i going to wear goggles next time i give it a around the house, eyes stings , thanks
I picked up when plastering ceilings, what ever hand you use,, a good rule of thumb is to stroke over your shoulder an get close to the ceiling, just how you adjusted the hight.
Good advice Stu,I’ve already had 2 trips to the hospital. In my case it was caused by rushing. I always wear safety specs now when doing ceilings.
Good advice Stu. I think we've all been caught out at sometime.
Great tips Stu, thank you!
Great video Stu!
Thanks 🔥

I do it the second way too Stu, always to the side . I never stand directly behind the trowel.
