As a person who knows nothing really about megaman, i really enjoyed this video, i love OoT enough to purely vibe with your excitement.
You really seemed to enjoy this playthrough and i loved seeing you react to everything. Even though i didnt understand mostly all the refrences.

Shocked I didn’t see vile at all. This mod definitely makes me want to play this game again with it even though just beat it last year.
This mod (as well as X in SM64) are like a sad glimpse into what X7 could've been.

I was playing a Randomizer run in Ship of Harkinian just a bit earlier and this mod makes me so happy right now.
Also, for the first 20 minutes I kept saying to myself "dude press the F1 key, please!!" haha!

It's crazy that I got recommended this 1 hour after it was made because I had Crash in my head (Megaman Zero boss theme) and decided to listen to the song. The odds of this happening seem so incredibly small.

you can, there’s lots of ways to do that but they all require glitches, since without glitches you need to play ocarina for magic power which is required to shoot light arrows

Zero sucks should have let is play as X. MegaMan was my favorite game franchise but the fan base got to boor licker and Capcom can do no wrong and clearly milks nothing for 3 decades almost.

I'm absolutely blown away by the amount of work that went into this mod. Modeling hundreds of characters from scratch is serious effort, especially to do as just a hobby. This was a labor of love that further cements my wish that we got more 3D Megaman games.

Megaman was my 6th game series i discovered as an 8 year old back in 2001.
Zelda was not too far behind it in 2004 with windwaker.
Man.
What a fucking champion of a mod.
Brings me back to the days when games had unlocks built in that were references or crossovers of other games. So awesome!!
Ok now I know I have to play through this.
It doesn't help I did a Zero playthrough of Super Mario 64 yesterday...and what's recommended to me the following day...This...oh and funny thing....Zero broke the game in half...although he could not actually talk to NPC you had to jump at, so I did have to switch back to Mario for those few instances.
This mod is REALLY cool and probably my default way to play now I only wish that one of the shields was shield boomerang and the hookshot got turned into the chain rod from the zero series cause they took from the classic series with the powered up mini boss and the Proto Shield
The Mega Man Zero series lives in my soul despite me being absolutely horrendous at platforming games so this mod just gives me the warm fuzzies. I CANNOT wait to try it😭💖
As a Mega Man and Zelda fan, this is already one of my favorite reskin mods.
Btw ship of harkinian does have song of time time travel in the time savers section of the settings

but when it comes to insert the most important and iconic details: the saber's slash sound and Zero's deep voice - they go like "Nah, it's fine like this 😋"

because SoH doesn't support custom sounds yet (the music from the mod uses samples/sounds that oot already has available)

like the other reply has already said, soh doesn't support adding external sound effects yet, so they can't insert the sound without trying to recreate it with sounds already available within OOT. Probably not impossible but definitely not easy
Adult Links voice works tbh. He's done Megaman VA work as well as being the voice for Hiei in YYH. And Chuck Huber (Hiei's English VA) would make a good Zero (I think Johnny Yong Bosch would be a better VA for X over Zero)
Yeah I think when SoH eventually allows for added effects like that they’ll eventually be implemented. I think extra things like sabre energy wave for example is something that’s also planned! The run I did was when the mod was SUPER vanilla still
I would play this game if it were an official release. Zero tracking down Mavericks in dungeons? Yes please.
