They did the cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping and all the “female” roles. A black belt in Kung Fu was the very masculine “man” and his partner the “wife”. He wasn’t macho but he was the “man” in the relationship. For professional reasons the wife was not “feminine” at work. “She” also earned more. The other gay guys I have known have been the “females”. The one lesbian in another country my daughter (straight) knows is the kind hearted “guy”. I have gotten the impression that there are far more “ladies” than “men” in the LGBTQ community. Don’t know if you are a member yourself. If you are am I wrong? They did the cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping and all the “female” roles. A black belt in Kung Fu was the very masculine “man” and his partner the “wife”. He wasn’t macho but he was the “man” in the relationship. For professional reasons the wife was not “feminine” at work. “She” also earned more. The other gay guys I have known have been the “females”. The one lesbian in another country my daughter (straight) knows is the kind hearted “guy”. I have gotten the impression that there are far more “ladies” than “men” in the LGBTQ community. Don’t know if you are a member yourself. If you are am I wrong?

don’t get me wrong: breaking stereotypes & exploring expression outside of “masculinity” is great but it needs to be more than that to qualify as non-toxic masculinity.

El problema no es el concepto sexy, sino la forma sutil de mostrar referencias LGBT y romper el concepto masculino.
Para los grupos masculinos es mucho más aceptado los conceptos sexys que para las chicas, y se han visto montones de ellos (History, EXO, SHINee, SuJu, 2PM, etc), y no han tenido el mismo recibimiento que este, porque ese no es el problema.
