You will DH the game right before and right after you pitch so if you play two games at your position and then it says DH/starting pitcher you’re DH then the game after that one you’ll pitch, always if the series ends before you select which play styler look to the right at the top where it shows who the pitcher is and you’ll know

Bro, you’re not paying attention. You’re just zooming through screens. It’s annoying, but you have to pay close attention before you pick your load out. You’re always gonna DH before and after you pitch. So if the screen says “DH/Starting Pitcher” and you didn’t just pitch, you’ll know it’s the pitching loadout.

You can either check the calendar when you start the vid and know when you'll be pitching, or between games check the starting pitcher and it'll show you..
22:25 I didn’t realize that the PCI placement plays such a big role. A lot of times you hit good contact, but the PCI placement is not where it needs to be to get full impact. That last Homerun you hit, the pci placement was in the perfect spot.
You can also check the starting pitcher on the screen before you select your loadout.
Please add a slurve instead of changeup it would be sooo good

You can see it at the calendar and also, if you noticed which you didn’t, but last video it had you DH the game before pitched… now when you closed out and started again it made you pitch for whatever reason? But typically, judging by what I saw over the past couple vids, you’ll DH, pitch, DH… I’m pretty sure too that where it shows position, if it has “DH” in front, you’re not pitching… but mainly it tells you at the calendar.. it works.. you’ve just not paid attention to how… mainly cuz you’re speed running the game.. also, as a SP you have to limit the SB’s… as a CP it didn’t matter a whole lot.. but steals will end up hurting you as a SP..
I always play as a two way player as a starting pitcher and catcher. My pitching focus is control and for the pitches I play on xbox so I have 4-seam fastball at A, cutter at B, Vulcan change at Y, circle change at X, and knuckle curve at right bumper. I pitch on legend difficulty and usually pitch almost the whole game with next to no era.
Never played an MLB game, but I love watching these videos.
Great series so far. I think you should bring back the cut but as a right handed pitcher use it up and inside like Mariano Rivera on 2 strike counts on righties and maybe use a 2 seam fastball on lefties.
The losdouts where working perfectly fine I play rtts everyday two way it’s been like that for years just cause your overall goes up and down it doesn’t matter just a glitch on what position game thinks your playing

Not sure if anyone said this in the comments yet, but when you DH the game before you pitch, it will say DH/SP then the next game it will say SP/DH meaning you’re pitching and DH at the same time. Hope that makes sense! Good videos!
You should throw 4seam, Slider, cutter, sweeping curve, sinker. Use different fastball to throw off their timing
You can kinda tell, the first pitcher/dh game is always just a dh, then the next one usually you’re pitching and hitting in the dh spot. After your start it’ll say pitch/dh again but you won’t ever start back to back games so then you’re just hitting dh only, it can be confusing but it’s always in a similar order

You click back whenever you see 'dh/starting pitcher' . Your name will be at the top as a starting pitcher. Quite easy. They give you a day off fielding the day before and after a start but an off day I think changes it so ignore that, just literally click back and ur good. Also use Recharge perk and you will throw 100 when half energy. I got my guy throwing 105 stacking that and pulse pounder diamond, pulse pounder gold. But you may not want the last 2, thats just for men on base so I did it with a reliever.
Have to update this only works from the clubhouse entering the game. So you just have to remember it, its not hard. 1- dh before 2- dh (start) 3- dh after

When you look at the loadouts always the chose the higher rated one. That will be the one with the right perks for the occasion
If you check before you pick your next archetype it tells you on the bottom left starting pitcher/Designated hitter

Mighty you can choose your load if you pay more attention, before piching you'll be a DH batter, then a pitcher and finally a DH because it makes sense, you'll never be a SS in a game then piching in another game because it doesn't make sense, so pay attention at that, or you can see the calendar and like that see which pissition you will play. Another thing, don't fu** swing when pitchers throw left inside, it's a totally mistake, left inside, left low, left high, open zone left whatever, but don't swing because you're gonna miss that, I've seen more that 13 pitches in that area and you have 2 or 3 successful swing, don't don't do that, study and practice those pitches, and pay more attention

change your fourseamer for a cutter, and your changeup for a circle change
Instead of a change up use a Vulcan changeup
You should keep two different play style and set your pitcher with equipment that improves stamina and get more chances for shutouts and equip your hit play style with all power perks…if it says DH/SP just choose the pitch play style to be safe
The first time it says DH/Starting you are just a DH the second time you’re pitching then DH again before going back to your position. You will DH/Starting Pitcher 3games in a row.
Try palmball or sweeping curve with slidey
Mighty - you have a million subs, upgrade all your equipment to diamond. Also, you'll get the hang of the loadouts. Like everyone's saying, check the calendar. Should look like this - SS, SS, DH, SP, DH, SS, SS, DH, SP, DH, SS, SS, DH, SP.
The loudouts are literally made for two-way players. THE SHOW needs to fix the DH/SP thing, for sure, or at least say if you're DH only.
26:50 your placement is the sole reason why you got that type of contact. Why don’t you ever go to the batting cage? I don’t think that’s boring, and I’m sure others would like to see it as well. Even if it’s just once every four or five games.

Starting pitcher/ DH are 2 different things. It’s telling you that you are pitching and DH in the same game which means you can always have your hit load out activated. Hi Mighty you Need to read this comment to understand.

I didn’t have my pitches rather and had those three but still threw a full game shutout
If you haven’t noticed when you’re two-way player and it says designated hitter/starting pitcher the first game it says that you’re a designated hitter but the second game you are a pitcher
So the reason you pitched so soon after your last start is because you're overall changed. So you got moved in the rotation probably to the ace. I had a problem last year with two loadouts it kept switching me between the ace and third in the rotation, because my overalls were different on both loadouts.
U should try a knuckleball I have one and it is so good in rtts

You should change your change up with a Vulcan change
Do just because the overall changes to your position not just a pitcher your attributes are gonna be worse hitting and pitching if you don’t create a new loadout it’s normal for it to say a lower overall you pitch then dh then two fielding games then dh then pitch

When you pick your hit or pitch it says if you are pitching or not
With only 1 loadout, you can't have the 2 different rituals
