Can I ask please : is it possible to do the slash/spacing technique on the yoke instead of the skirt in order to figure out how to cut the waist line on a existing gathered skirt pattern ? To figure out the shape of the yoke line on the skirt. Thank you !

Hi Laura,... I read your question several times... but I'm not really clear what you're trying to do. Please email me at ninovia@me.com ...and send me more information, or a sketch, or something explaining further what you're going for. Thanks Laura. Looking forward to hearing from you again soon...

Sir when we add fulness on top OR bottom side, it's easy to place pattern pieces we get shapes automatically n easily bcz 1 side of patterns are joined.
What about the pattern pieces cutted out on BOTH Sides,
Q: how we place them moving forward n upward parallel. Thanks

Hi Amna, ... you have to recreate/redraw a new line/seam connecting all the pieces that have been separated... it's like "connecting the dots" and blending all the pieces to create a new line ~ I'll see if I can find a video that shows what I'm trying to describe and send it to you...

@@ninovia1 actually I want to know the technique for placement of pattern pieces (in case of a rounded shaped hemline) bcz they r not placed at the same level horizontally /perpendicular.

@@valuablecontent6027 ~ that's correct Amna, they are placed in a "circular" way, they're not horizontal. You really should enroll in my Pattern Making courses... they explain all this stuff...! :)
