out of all the other Wooden Vises on RUclips i like this one the best because of the Simplicity and the lower cost BTW it still is a Nice Looking Vise when completed but doesn’t require all the “ Exotic “ Lmber to be that Good Looking ! i also like that the build video. doesn’t show the requirement or need to have a lot of expensive un necessary Woodworking Tools many other You Tubers make it appear are needed to build a nice Product I’ve personally built many. nice Wooden Items like Furniture and Cabinetry with basic tools like Straight Edges , Clamps , Routers , and Hand Tools yes it requires more time and Patience but can be done i for many years did not have the option of Space required or Finances to have a large well equipped. Shop at home so i. had what i could. have and made it work however i did work in the Woodworking Industry for many years. so I was able to experience other options and ways of acheiving the same results

Not a big issue. Simply reline the jaws as required. And if that procedure becomes frequent then maybe think about relining the jaws with some hardwood
RAYOS ¡¡Que Buen Modelo!!.... y yo pensando en comprar uno en la ferretería... y resulta que me encontre un Maestro de Herramientas Carpinteras Caseras. Aunque admito que ve complicado ¡Paciencia es lo que me sobra!... lo que si no, es mi falta de herramientas para hacerlo pero, creo saber arreglar me las ^^
PD: Me gusto esa lijadora de mesa. Voy a ver ese vídeo.

Heimwerker ,den müßt ihr unbedingt nachbauen ,ich bin begeistert ! ich benutze ihn schon über ein Jahr ohne Probleme .Ich baue jetzt meinen 2 Schraubstock ,man kann den in der Werkstatt super einsetzten .👍👍👍👍

Excellent simple work. I would have made the jaws taller in order to accommodate bigger objects.
Accomodating bigger parts would require higher clamping forces, which go beyond the means of such a haphazard contraption made by guess and by gosh out of softwood.
Complete waste of time and material. ☹️
