This is a very informative video, thanks. I would add to the readers to also consider the following realities before moving to Germany, if they're comparing Germany vs. other EU nations, UK or US.
1. Language: You cannot get by just speaking English here, it's not possible. Learn at least A2, or train yourself in everyday conversations (supermarket, banking, public authorities, restaurants, traffic/directions) etc.. This will go along a long way.
2. Economy: Germany is the richest country in Europe, and has more job opportunities than most other EU nations combined, but the economy is in recession, and as such, the job market is also affected. Now with frequent layoffs at most tech companies, expect things to be tight at least till the macroeconomic situation improves.
3. PPP Comparison: If you're earning like 25 - 30 LPA + in a tech role etc in India, and you get an offer of 75K EUR, example, then it's not a good deal for you. Always use PPP Converters and Cost of Living Converters, calculate fixed and variable expenses + a buffer of how much you want to save, and then choose to move.
4. Housing/Driving License/Settling-in: There are certain things you'll learn only after coming here, but most of them will be easy for you if you have a good hold of the language. Bureaucracy is nobody's friend here. If you're going to live in Berlin, Frankfurt (Main), Dusseldorf etc. then most of these things will be relatively different than if you're going to live in other cites (or towns).
Overall, it's more like that quote from the Men in Black "Is it worth it - Yes, if you're strong enough"! 🙃

Great video but two things to keep in mind - Language barrier is still high enough no matter what the government does so getting a job is highly unlikely. No it's not common for people to earn more than 150k in a family except if both are in IT, non IT partners don't get a job ever unless they study again for scratch or agree to waitressing and stuff
Germany already looks like a very good destination for Indians, but I hope the additional international will also make life in Germany bit more English friendly :)

@FlyingAbroad If someone has a Blue Card for their study-related job and is fired from a company after 4 months during the probationary period, they can use this Blue Card to work full-time in another (non-study-related) field. Because in the Blue Card work permit (it says that you can only have this card for this job). Can you please clear up the confusion? Thanks in advance.
