I gotta give some credit to most of the public servants in this video. They were mostly cordial and didn't escalate things, which was great to see. They were willing to listen and remained professional. Mary in particular gets an A+. She was very polite while inquiring Sean's reason for filming, after which, she immediately understood that he was just exercising his constitutional right to film in publicly accessible areas and even came to his defense.

The sentence "we're just curious when someone is filming around YOUR building" actually sound way weirder lol.

Kinda sad to see all the comments here making derogatory remarks at them like they did such a horrible job when it went really well. People just like to talk sht and be negative any chance they get. I know I'll be in the minority with this opinion here, but it would've been nicer to see the comments reflecting the overall good job of this office. Instead I see comments on wow how embarrassing the way they were dressed and wow what a bunch of FOOLS because one girl there thought he needed permission. Not everyone watches first amendment audits all day and night. Thankfully Sean is respectful and not like most auditors currently just belittling every person at the first opportunity they have just to get some content and appease the viewers who ONLY watch to criticize other people and look down on them for being curious. regardless of how you feel about people openly recording on public grounds - this is ALL awareness and documentation on how we react to others who openly record in public. IF you’re oppose to this activity you need to really think about the big picture. you can’t stop technology advancement, you adapt with technology. the cameras used here are the devices of the time. but look up the cameras that are on the market right now: Ray-Ban Stories, Wristcam, Insta360 Go 3, and many many more. soon these devices will be more accessible and soon they will have more streaming capabilities. the iPhone came out in 2007 and look @ how that device affects our daily lives today. now imagine another innovated device coming out soon and think about the affect that device will have on us in the future. VERY SOON you will NOT know who is recording in public (or anywhere for that matter) because the activity will be done so discreetly AND we will all become desensitized to the activity. you can’t control technology BUT you can control how you use it. so IF you don’t like people recording in public - buckle up because this is just the beginning. welcome to the front-line of the digital age. best of luck✌️

They still get the hassle, then eventually the subjects realize that the glasses have a camera, still freaks them out, especially it the Auditors add a prop, one I have in mind is Reggie Photo, he carries around a piece of rectangular perspex, and glasses for the camera. They never fail to question him. Rarely will he ever go into a building, this is all from the public street. If people don't know exactly what you are doing they will demand to know, especially police and security types. They have to show authority.

I mean I would be confident that when not at work for example, they get filmed at parties, weddings etc, I bet it's no problem then. Most likely use their own social media FB etc, sticking pictures up of themselves and their children. I personally think it's that it's more of a case that they can't control the camera of a stranger unknown to them. They don't have a problem with all these strange cameras the government and shops etc use. So that tells me it's not the camera itself that they fear. It's about control in a given situation, so if they can't control it themselves they will call someone they think will, armed uniform wearing people.
