According to reports, she dumped Italian-born Vittorio Assaf who is the co-founder of Serafina Restaurants with whom she shares two children for her twin sister’s husband.
During the pandemic the model is said to have started an affair with Frenchman Thierry Gillier who is also the founder of Zadig & Voltaire despite him having been married to her identical twin sister, Cecilia Bonstrom.
“Charlotte had an affair with Thierry and it broke Celia’s heart…,” one source said. “Poor Cecilia, betrayed by her husband and her twin sister.”
Strange we have to say, but it’s about to get stranger.
According to rumours Celia wasn’t to let her sister get away with it and is taking revenge by starting a relationship with Assaf, her sister’s husband in return, in other words a partner swap.
Assaf denies the rumours but does say that Charlotte is keen to tie the knot with Thierry.
“Charlotte and I are in the process of getting divorced - she wants to get remarried,” he told Page Six on Wednesday. “[She] is getting married to Thierry Gillier, the ex-husband of her sister.”
“It is very difficult,” Assaf added, “but I have nothing to do with the sister of Charlotte.”
Thankfully one of them seems sensible or maybe not. It would seem that Charlotte wants a divorce because Assaf “often spent time with models during their marriage” which of course hurt her.
“She was very hurt, but learned to accept it and then she started secretly dating other people,” an insider said.
So when did all this start, well apparently March last year when she is thought to have posted it on Instagram.
“You’re looking for three things generally, in a person: Intelligence, energy and integrity. And if they don’t have the last one, don’t even bother with the first two,” she wrote, tagging both her hubby and sister in the caption.
She later a picture of her red tearful eyes and wrote, “#momentoftruth#iknowwhoiam#nolies.” Then, a post saying, “Maturity is learning to walk away from people & situations that threaten your peace of mind, self-respect, values, morals or self-worth.”
Cecilia who is also a model is still part of Gillier’s company but of course it must be weird for her. As another source put it,
“I don’t know how that is going to work out.”
“My God, what drama,” the insider said. “One would think there would be other men around than your twin sister’s husband.”
“Its such a crazy story - you just couldn’t even make it up.”
One more thing we should add is that they two are 50, so not exactly young and we have to agree this is a crazy story indeed.

Sorry, but this was too easy! They are IDENTICAL TWINS after all, I bet Celia's husband didn't even knew which sister was he doing. Family plots turning to tragedy are old as the world but in this case, Celia's husband gets the benefit of the doubt. The only one that really lost in this was Vittorio, because he's the one that got clearly dumped out of the ménage à 4 becoming a classical ménage à trois.
