This is a good lecture. As someone who has trained in several Japanese arts for most of my life (60 years) - I am not sure that she has fully penetrated the meaning of "everyday aesthetics" or of the emptiness and momentariness necessary to understand the issue - but that is perhaps too much to expect from a video. This at least opens up the subject.
she should provide German examples of landscape......there's also the beauty of the fallen blossoms.....laundry hanging and the japanese aesthetics of asymmetry, imperfection, imbalance
