Turn your 4wheeldrive off?? You coulda gone x4 as fast!! 😂🤣😂🤣😂 I sure do miss the TN Valley! I’m deep behind enemy lines in Commiefornia but still call the TN Valley home!!
I'm sure back in the day ur dad or grandpa had no cab or air conditioning my dad told me he remembers driving those old combines and when u got done in the evening you would be so dang dirty u couldn't tell urself from the dirt they had to be tough back then now people got it made untill the compressor or the belt breaks been there done that hot when it does but u have to do what u have to do before it rains
These newer combines with all the glass makes it hard to stay in there if the A/C goes down. I’ve almost gotten too hot on more than once occasion doing that.
@@DylanJoyceFarms my cousin just sold some here for over 11.00. I am retired now all I have is a few cows and I still bale some hay. I know it is nice to get the better money with the fuel being so high and everything else double in price.
Man yeah!! Grtti g it done!! I bet that was a big change going from the mechanical injection freightliner to the computer stuff 😉 I don't think I missed it,maybe but how was the test load? Was the monitor close? Grain hornet 😁😁🤣🤣 Looking good gentleman, thank you for bringing us along!! Look fwd to more and it it went or is going well!! 😁😁👍👍
Wheat was made to be combined by John Deere combines just think about it green paint and yellow wheat no other equipment goes together like that I've been around it all but there's nothing like that John Deere green paint no wonder joe diffie sang about John Deere green lol

Has the auger on the 9400 always had black tape on it or did I miss something?
It has a perforated auger so we have to cover the perforations when we cut wheat to keep from losing any.

The monitor was pretty close. Once we put the calibration load in it stayed within 1% of the actual bushels the entire harvest.
@@DylanJoyceFarms That's awesome!!! Good to hear it was that close, thank you for the info!!
That looks like where my granddad's old farm (60 Trenton Hwy, Dyer)!
Yes that is the address for the farm!

I can’t speak for the newer stuff but the green paint has been awfully good on our farm through the years.
