You made a wise investment in Sean and it looks like he has a home where he can build custom vehicles that are an interesting challenge. Overall the entire team makes good stuff happen. Stay awesome.
Just a tip to Sean. When milling Aluminium . If you dont want to use coolaint you can use high proof etanol in a squirt bottle to cool things down. We used 95 % pure alcohol at the flight division factory. Work's well.
I do agree that should do that, but I'd like them to really finish up some stuff like the bread van and things first. I'd love it if they spent a little more time on the trekker too, it's always working hard doing jobs, throw some suspension parts, brakes and an engine rebuild at it or something as a "quick" episode.
Sean, could you use a shop vacuum to pick up the aluminum shavings while you are cutting? It would keep the area cleaner and make it easier for you as well. You do amazing quality creative work!
I like to see you're allowing Sean a space and tools to build out his rig on the weekends . It would be nice to see everyone working on Pumba like you've done with Hill Billys rides. ( Broncstar , Harley , Trekker ) Many hands make light work , as well as he'd be getting paid to free up time for family , wheelin , bowling ?!?!?! IDK . What ever he likes to do besides being AWESOME all the time .
That 3/8 male jic (joint industry council) weld adapter is called a weld bore. I use em all the time at work to rebuild customers a/c, pwr steering, etc. lines.
Did you consider pressure testing the fuel tank? Fill to a few psi and let it sit to see if it bleeds down. If air does not leak you are guaranteed that fuel will not.
Should chop the roof on that bread van and once lowered have custom glass fit the new look ..help with top heavy and would look slick...big job but would be awesome..
That dog house is beautiful. Wonder what a leather diamond tuck pad would look like in the area your leg rest is? Maybe a motled medium tan leather? Hmmm
Have you considered making merch with Layton Auto Body or L.A.B. Towing or Layton Fabrication? To me, those represent who your brand is more than Merica.
While your at it why don't you flip the wench and make a top access for the engagement lever. I built a tool to reach into the lever works great. that way when you stick it in deep snow or mud you wont have to dig it out to get to it.
The van is going to need custom jump seats in the rear to haul the RLN team in on recoveries and have room to transport the families out from the recovery zone!
I just wanted to say hello and love the channel. I also wanted to see if you have a Christmas party for your employees? I hope you do because they deserve it.
Iam so impressed by Sean’s work he’s a full blown pro to do metalwork👏👏👍 Owen is a good guy Robby has the best crew love your work it’s fun to se and I learn something every time❤️
They probably don't want the oil mist floating around in a paint shop. As they work a lot in aluminium though alcohol is an awesome cutting fluid, up to 50% reduction in cut force. Though I suspect "I've already had my shop burn down once" Robby may not like that idea.
Sean is amazing...metal master.
Great team work going on.
👍🏽🇺🇸👍🏽 Sean does amazing work

Or Simple Green soap.
You guys do good work. Shaun is the man.
The bread van is so freaking cool. It really looks like it's ready for adventure
“ Hey Robby rabbit”…!!! Love it!
Hillbilly doses great work (with his hands)
Owen doses great work with his hands & can talk .
Please start on Bosses rig. These specialties builds are cool, but she deserves a.good rig built in the shop. 😊😊😊

While I agree, I think whiskers needs some work prep for winter first.
@@offroad6309 took that as a given lol

You do amazing quality creative work!
That center console doghouse cluster is just absolutely beautiful that man needs a raise...
And get that man a Mountain Dew

Robby the Rabbit , I like it . Sean is just a Cool laid back "Genius"
The doghouse is awesome. The only thing I would add it , is some blue highlights here and there.
Love the bread van, and Owen and Sean are great additions to the crew. Both are very talented!
That 3/8 male jic (joint industry council) weld adapter is called a weld bore. I use em all the time at work to rebuild customers a/c, pwr steering, etc. lines.
You all still amaze me with Good work and you seem to have a Great Team working for you .
Did you consider pressure testing the fuel tank? Fill to a few psi and let it sit to see if it bleeds down. If air does not leak you are guaranteed that fuel will not.
The bread Van Might be helpful with recovery's. Plus it would be awesome to see
Should chop the roof on that bread van and once lowered have custom glass fit the new look ..help with top heavy and would look slick...big job but would be awesome..
Shawn "Super Genius" ,,,,
He makes it look so easy. 😊😊😊 true craftsman
The unflappable.
great as always great content very entertaining good job
Bluetooth drivelines! I love it!
Maybe you should have the doghouse anodized blue
You all should get ya some shop shades i have to admit probably the most comfortable safety glasses I've worn. Bunghollio....
It looks like a separate company name is in order. LFAD. Layton fab and design.
I really like that jacket Owen wears. It's manly but cheerful, like him.
Looking good guys
I’m the one that got on Rory about the unnecessary front digs!! 😂all he was doing at the time was showboating!! 👍
Nice work Robbie.
Sean being awesome.... mills a billet dash surround. I mean.... epic-est.
Great as always thanks guys
Robby, you're getting pretty good at tigging aluminum!
O-Dog is a great addition to the crew.
ROBBY, MAYBE YOU SHOULD PUT A PAD WRAPPED IN THE SAME COLOR MATERIAL AS THE SEATS WHERE THE NOTCH IS ON THE CONSUL FOR EXTRA BANGING PROTECTION!
Hello from western KY, I WISH for Santa to bring me a cool gift like this
That dog house is beautiful. Wonder what a leather diamond tuck pad would look like in the area your leg rest is? Maybe a motled medium tan leather? Hmmm
Sean needs to use a shopvac when milling. It would make his cleanup shorter. He does such great work so spoil him.
Awesome video Robby
Sean is an amazing fabricator
Great 🇺🇸 stuff 🇺🇸 as always 🇺🇸 👍
Shawn is making Christmas Glitter! The Elf on a Milling Machine! Does that make Robbie Santa? Hill Billy the Red Neck Reindeer!
Sean is a master in crafting anything as Robby just said.
By this time with all the custom work done to the van, it must be worth a 1/4 million.
Fanciest $20,000 build ever!
You have a great team Robby. Seems like everyone works well together and the work you do is top notch.
FAMOUS LAST WORDS “I really need to weld more, I like it a lot”😂😂
Thanks for another great video
GOOD JOB!
Need to get Sean a CNC mill, would be a force multiplier
That bread van is obviously awesome it will make a great recovery vehicle when you're done with it
Just imagine having the bread van pull up to get you out. That would be awesome.
Maybe it is when you roll over or do something stupid ? < not if. lol
You guys are awesome!
23:14 👍😎✊
Cool stuff
Tell Sean if he sprays the aluminum with WD-40 it will keep the bits from galling.
Have you considered making merch with Layton Auto Body or L.A.B. Towing or Layton Fabrication? To me, those represent who your brand is more than Merica.
Sean makes it look awesomer 😅
Shaun needs to stop doing awesome stuff. He will never get a rest.
Well done girls and boys
Awesome
A true rollover fuel tank vent uses the FATS method. 3 sides and down.
While your at it why don't you flip the wench and make a top access for the engagement lever. I built a tool to reach into the lever works great. that way when you stick it in deep snow or mud you wont have to dig it out to get to it.
What blades do you use on your grinders to cut aluminum? Looks like they work really well!
Sean is a fabrication genius.
Too cool..I want to ride in the bread truck..
I heard that Shawn Robby Rabbit 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The van is going to need custom jump seats in the rear to haul the RLN team in on recoveries and have room to transport the families out from the recovery zone!
Why don't you put some cable holders inside the engine cover to tidy up the mess and give you guys room to work?
I just wanted to say hello and love the channel. I also wanted to see if you have a Christmas party for your employees? I hope you do because they deserve it.
Annodize the dog house. Would be way better than the fantastic it already is.
spray wd40 on the tooling when machining aluminium to prevent the tool from clogging up
Iam so impressed by Sean’s work he’s a full blown pro to do metalwork👏👏👍 Owen is a good guy Robby has the best crew love your work it’s fun to se and I learn something every time❤️
Shawn and the crew are amazing! “Robby Rabbit!” 🤣🤣🤣
What about passenger side wiper arm
They do make tip over venting
Big improvements ! Thanks for sharing !
Shawn some coatings don't like aluminum.wd40 will help
I like bread van😂
That's a small gas tank for Overlanding.
Where's HECTOR?
Make sure the wallpaper has same batch numbers
That's not a dog house. It's a bread box. That's where the shake and bake is!
Man, I'd give anything to have an endmill and a lathe.
That’s got to be the best looking doghouse/console ever created
What ever you are paying Sean (Shawn?), it's not enough.
Will you be putting the bigger tires on those beautiful wheels before you and Colton leave on your trip
✌️
for the dog house notch. could you have just flipped the piece you cut out over ?
hope you cerokote clear the raw aluminum
I think that was a BFG bender.
New light set up is no bueno
Shawn needs a low pressure mister for the milling machine.
They probably don't want the oil mist floating around in a paint shop. As they work a lot in aluminium though alcohol is an awesome cutting fluid, up to 50% reduction in cut force. Though I suspect "I've already had my shop burn down once" Robby may not like that idea.
I realized the other day after watching the last video on the bread van, there is no reason, if needed you wouldn't be able to use it for recoveries.
O-Dawg needs a matching shirt. The flannel/hoddie isn't quite cutting it in the shop....
Just sayin'
Pat
Putting the loop in the gas tank breather so low is going to cause problems. Once the loop fills with gas, your vent will no longer work.
Icant believe I forgot to enter for the truck giveaway.
It was great to watch the build. Please move on to something else.
Amazing work guys!! You have a great team!!!
Robby if your gonna be a "Tig" welder ya need to get yourself a pearl snap... if ya don't know what that is go ask a Welder.. if ya know ya know..
Love this build.
👍
