You have to listen to this song at the concert. I've heard it over and over again, but the combination of orchestra and band performance and IU's voice is so amazing.

I can’t believe she was able to perform this, as well as finish the rest of the concert when her Patulous Eustachian Tube Dysfunction was acting up. At the second concert, she admitted that her condition got worse during the latter part of the first concert that it felt “like hell” for her. Kudos to IU being the professional she is. Still sounding absolutely excellent regardless. As the saying goes… “The show must go on!”

I doubt she was nervous...this was an encore she had already been singing for hours before this and you can see she was tired ...I think that's y she went for a lighter version and also due to her ear problems
She even practiced with blocking her hearing the day before this concert for any chance her condition worsens and it did but she still nailed it

This song is IU's own song reflecting her struggles to realize ego identity in younger(child) time as well as soothing people. Her smile was a facial expression to deliver abundantly the meaning of the lyrics at that part and the next coming part as well as her tremulous breath at the end of the song had the same purpose. She was not nervous at all. You should check the poetic and deep meaningful lyrics. In a word, She is a SUPERB artist, indeed!!!
If im not mistaken IU always change or at least rearrage her orchestra to suit the concert vibe. I dont really remember the exact reasons other than that tho😅
Edit: IU smiles while singing sometimes because of certain meaning of the lyrics, another way for her to deliver subtle message through the song

I don't think she was nervous, but more a bit out of breath after walking from back to the front of the stage😅😅. But everything about this live clip is perfect, this is my third time I cried after seeing this. The song and the way she live every word she sing hit me hard😭
She had ear pain and partial hearing loss in left ear due to ear conditions called something.... Which acted due to humid and hot temperature that time and her sweating a lot before this performance caused dehydration and her condition acting up. Thus she looked in pain and tired. Her ear condition has no permanent solution, she apologized to her audience too but still kept the show going on almost perfectly. This condition was documented a few years back too

I think I remember her saying that she recorded this during Covid when she had no idea when she would be on stage again and then felt really daunted by the prospect of having to do that big note live. She nailed it but I'm glad she didn't have to do it over and over for months on end like she had to do when Good Day came out.

What's even more incredible is how she still managed to perform this song so well with that high note being a bit longer than the original, after singing for 2 hours and despite her ear condition which makes her ears hurt while talking and even more when singing.
On the 2nd day during My Sea she really couldn’t hear at all so the band had to keep up with her pace since she cant hear the instrumentals very well 🥲

I get goosebumps and feel so emotional and proud of her every time I watch her golden hour concert live clips and see her performing in front of such a huge crowd of uaenas after 3 long years. It feels extra incredible when you know that there were hundreds of celebrities among this crowd, enjoying her incredible performances and witnessing this historical moment of her becoming the first Korean female artist to hold a concert in Jamsil stadium🥰🥺
There were celebrities like members of txt, bts, red velvet, twice, weekly, akmu, t-ara Jiyeon etc also so many popular actors like yoo inna, kim so hyun, Lee jong suk etc among this crowd 😊 i honestly can't even remember all of the celebrities who attended golden hour concert cause there were soooo many 😅 if someone remembers the one's i couldn't you can add them in the reply😊
Last September, when ⏳the concert was held, it was much🌋hotter than usual, but she sang 🍓"Strawberry Moon" on🔥🎈a hot-air balloon that seemed to melt her hair and makeup. I just admire👑her for singing with a smile even though her dehydration has worsened her ear problems. As always, the meaning of her song lyrics can be💖felt better in her live performances. 🧚I hope her song can also be a comfort and support to herself. 🎀Thank you for making me happy🎁🎠with a surprise gift even though☔🌧it's raining all day.
