Well i believe years after being in the game those companies have gained a monopoly and as such are not willing to take risks for new creative projects. In Japan however there is a big rat race in the same considering the level of popularity anime has garnered in not only 1st world but even the developing one.
Easy, Mappa doesn't makes their own stories. That said, if you make me choose between spending a day seeing again JJK second season, and seeing se gain Shrek or Cars trilogy then it would be a though choice to make.

There was this Anime Called "Terror in Resonance" , which made me like MAPPA, ...but now they seem to be loosing it, ...especially after modern Shonen, like JJK etc.. Like it's alright, but i already miss the old mappa.

Some animations by Mappa are really stupid like the part where they show the trees in jjk season 1 not the battle scene but the one with the brothers died they had a real bad animation when they were walking in the woods it looked so bad and the animators are working hard for that? The head of mapa you need to stop with these stupid things

aot s4 was actually insane they had 11 months and they cooked 8000+ detailed colossal titans and detailed scenery
