- Thoughtfully written and beautifully animated, The Legend of The Three Trees teaches children and adults alike the significance of their role in God's plan for the world.
The Legend of The Three Trees is a timeless retelling of the classic folktale of three distinct trees, each with its own hopes, dreams and aspirations. We follow a beautiful olive tree blossoming in the valley, a knotty oak tree clinging to the shore and a strong pine standing high on the mountainside. They each dreamed of becoming great - perhaps a majestic treasure chest, or a magnificent sailing ship or maybe the tallest tree in the forest.
But their dreams didn't seem to come true. Disappointed and dejected, the trees despair about their existence until they each finally interact, in their own unique ways, with Jesus Christ in His birth, ministry and ultimate sacrifice. In these experiences, they learn that God has a special purpose for each of them in His kingdom.

I m an adult and in starting i was thinking this video is 4 kids about trees but watch till the end whoever thinked to left video in half, there is a strong message and inspiration in the story
I am an adult, and love watching this. I think we all need to be reminded of Gods purpose for our lives.
God has a purpose for our lives may be not the way like we wanted but something different and unique and special. So we must accept and thank him for whatever plans he has for us

God, this is great. This story tells me that though situations may look as if they were taking me from my dreams and purpose, God always knows how to ensure that those dreams and purpose come to pass to His Glory and manifestation. All I need is to have faith in His abilities to do this.

i am a doctor myself and i witness the power of God everyday in my life. man may advance and grow in all types of technology but man is nothing except God... morals are very important for kids and this is not the first time that when something good has come up that people have been offended. even the history is a witness of it. if our ancestors dint understand the truth then its totally understandable that neither will u. but the truth is that Jesus loves and He always will.

My kids have watched this over and over many times... I was already an adult when this was made but I've watched it with each of my 7 kids (ages 23- 9)... I was blessed watching it...
Now that shattered all my dreams and plans. Though i believe that God has a greater plan for me,way bigger than mine. That's a great story.

This is my third time it's a nice story a heard it when I felt like I have nothing I lost my faith than 2 or 3 years later I found the love of my life it took me losing my family to the 7 sins but no I have them back with a new family

My Grand Daughter and her Papaw shared this video tonight and we both enjoyed it. There is a higher purpose for her and the rest of us. Watching this small video over and over as children do will help re enforce the idea over time of her purpose. Neither of us are here just to be consumers but to love and look out for the good of others more so than ourselves. I am blessed to help her along the way however I can.
Honestly, i didn't purposefully watch this. i had an school assignment, that was what had me got here.
So when i watched the first, like seven minutes or so, i was sooo bored, like "how am i suppose to finish watching this? when is this gonna end???" but then after that it gradually changed.
Call me emotionally unstable or whatever, but i cried til the end of this. i realised how wrong i had been for thinking that i should've had a better life.
This : God has a special purpose for each of them in His kingdom.

short and meaningful one.....I watched it when my life seems to be going nowhere and hopeless and this movie reminded me once again that God has a plan and a purpose for my life need not worry about anything and trust only in him. Thank you Jesus for paying my ransom on the cross.

i remember a few years ago back in the 5th grade ( i'm a Jr now in high school) my school recommended a group for me and my dad it was call three trees and i remember going there every Thursday night for 3 months i had an amazing time there and they used to tell this story once a month and had an activity to do with this it really helped me and my dad with the passing of my mom back in my 3rd grade year

We have a peacher friend in the Salvation Army who was in an awful motorcycle accident. The doctors didn't think he would make it and they said a stroke caused the accident.
Though out the Salvation Army many people prayed & never stopped praying. Our peachers told us tonight that they had good news. Lt. Wendy told her husband he had a phone call, her husband picked up the phone & tears came to his eyes. In short his (& our) peacher friend had pulled through, could now talk & has a slight small problem with his left foot but he will get out of rehab in one week. He told our Lts that now he can start preaching again. He has 4 years till retirement & will have spread God's word many years & he grew up in a Salvation Army family.
God hears prayers from His children. If God is with us, who can be against us? Thank you God for healing our friend.

It's great that we can trust in Him in times like this.
It's true you know my parents divorced before I joined middle school it was hard and at the time life hit me more times than I can count but the divorced meant I had to move and the now place put in a district where I took special classes for the dream job I wanted for most of my life all the last 4 years of me work for my dreams would happen without me hitting my lowes point and it even helped my find a girlfriend that means more than the world to me.

I came across this story in a newspaper around the year 2003 and this story flipped my style of "hoping" in the Lord. I tell this to all who superficially feel hopeless. Why superficially, because Lord God has instilled a purpose is each one of us. Just be hopeful to realize it with the Lord, Amen.
This is an amazing story, I have always loved it. Christians have dreams on how we can work for the Kingdom of GOD ,but GOD take are little human thoughts and makes them more than we could ever imagine or dream. AND I believe that all Earth would be happy to have been apart of JESUS LIFE ..GOD said that even rocks would cry out and praise GOD IF we don't. .so why not trees. Thank you JESUS FOR DYING FOR MY SINS AND RISING. AGAIN on the 3rd day. FOR pointing the way to salvation by a cross.

I just happened on this video...and something suddenly came up which really troubled me that I've been dealing with as part of a dark past I had which made me pause the video...when I played it again, it was the part of the song about trusting God's plans...I just started to cry until the rest of the video...I'm no longer a kid but I see that God's message can come across to us in every different means...it just uplifted me...and answered my question of what to do..thank you so much for this vid

I thought this was a wonderful film, very well written and very beautifully animated. I came across it while I was looking for ideas to teach my Sabbath school class. This was used as a supplement to my lesson. I enjoyed it so much that I asked parents of our Sabbath school kids to show it to their children on RUclips during the Covid-19 isolation period. This story has a very dear place in my heart as it was a family tradition to read it aloud every Christmas Eve!
This really touched my heart I instantly thought of all this things when the mentioned the olive treefrom being in church all my life its stright where my mind heads when I hear any story.

this movie really changed my view of trusting upon the LORD. now I will start to trust him with everything I have
it spoke to me about my life. I wanted to be something useful for God as a care manager for seniors. This job would care for seniors and supply myself with a lot of finances. But God had other plans! He removed this future which I worked hard for in my masters degree program. I end up as a care giver for seniors but I can see God at work with my seniors. I don't have a lot of money but I am being used mightily to tell the seniors about how God is great!

When you help God's people remember He said it is like you are helping Him.
When I was a small child I was dead in the hospital a short while. My sprite left my body & I found myself in a misty white light & I knew I was traveling upward very fast but no gravity pull. I could see through the mist & see bright stars/lights in the otherwise pitch darkness.
I looked up & could see a small round hole that was brighter then the mist. I heard a beautiful shooting voice in short that told me it wasn't yet my time, that I had many things to do & I was sent back.
The doctors were amazed & so were my parents. I tried to tell them what had happened but they wouldn't believe me.
I have grown sons, saved a lady & 2 children from a burning truck & saved other lives as a life guard, spent 14 years in the Army. So yeah God has plans for us all.
I have no fear of 'death'...Where Jesus wants me to be, there I will be.
He has great plans for you too! Wait till you hear Angeles singing!
Stay true to our Lord & he will never forsake you. In trying times, it can be very hard but in the end you will be a much stronger person for it. God bless you! 💖

That was a very clever story. Never heard it before. It was a good illustration I think of all us who think maybe their lives are messed up of of things gone wrong..but none of us are worthless. When God is involved he makes it all beautiful and so worthy.

One main thing that stood out to me in this movie is: "Don't give up on God for He won't give up on you". I pray I may never limit God, no matter what is happening to me. I'm always on the look out for the miraculous and the supernaturals.

You know how some people always cry at weddings, well I always cry when I see Jesus being crucified.
Lucinda Mobley tears of joy are different from tears of sorrow; that is, unless you're a sadistic atheist that loves seeing Jesus suffer on that cross.
***** I don't cry for joy when I see it. I cry because it seems like we didn't deserve this chance that god gave us. I am grateful, but it makes me sad that it had to come to that sacrifice. I don't know, I just have a heart made of mush.

I just watched The legend of the three trees yesterday (Thanksgiving), I felt good watching it.
I saw it as one of the trailers on Hermie a common caterpillar, which was an old thing I try. Both Hermie a common caterpillar and the trailers on it reminded me of my old home in Pennsylvania. And I am glad I am trying something new, which reminds me of Pennsylvania.
