my long distance boyfriend came to visit me. On my way to the airport to pick him up, he sent me this song. We both loved it and played it whenever we were driving. Its kinda become 'our song.' I dropped him back off at the airport yesterday and parting with him was so incredibly hard. This song has become super special to me. Can't wait for us to meet again next month.

This is a song I want to live by, and it really woke me up to what is around me, how I just let myself get put down. It really points out that I was the one who was putting myself down the most out of everyone. I was happier as a kid because I put up a fight to feeling bad. Now why in the world would I just let it be what I do. The worse time to be compliant, that fire and life style of fighting and spirited is the one to be preferred!

But some artists get stuck in the rut of producing the same type of music they’ve had success with. The band singing about how they are tired of focusing on the bad keeps things fresh.
