Hi sir,i have a doubt regarding the 4 bit lcd We are sending 28 command for that first we will send 2 after that 8 will it overlaps,how the controller knows it is 28
We have interfaced LCD in 4 bit mode. The LCD controller expects two consecutive 4-bit nibbles, and it internally combines these two nibbles to form the full byte 0x28. There is no overlap because: The controller knows that the first 4-bit nibble is the higher part of the byte. The second 4-bit nibble is the lower part of the byte. Thus, the controller reconstructs the full command 0x28 after receiving both nibbles. Hope this helps...
