Remember who their coach is and who he was under, this is the Spurs approach. At this point they don't care nothing about the season they coast and when they need to go on a win streak to play out of body until they're able to coast again. To a team like this and players like this all they care about is the championship, they're just trying to make sure everyone is healthy going into the playoff. They're not winning on the road but they figure at best with gp2 and Wiggins they would at least be able to split the road games and more than likely win the home games.

They definitely have the ability to turn it up. The problem is, that's not quite how it works. You can clearly see that every year, the NBA champions are a well oiled machine during the regular season. You have to be in the zone going into the post season, because turning it on for a game is one thing. Doing it over the course of several series is a whole different challenge.
The fact their road record is equal to the Pistons but they are still a 6th seed honestly shows how good they still are. Especially when you look at home record when compared. Even if this isn't some big brain deception, the playoffs are 7 games, 2,2,1,1,1 that's bare minimum 3 wins for GS every series if this were to keep up. And 4 wins if they have better seeding, because of how open the West is I wouldn't be surprised to see an upset where maybe a 7 seed beats a 2 seed or something of the sort which if the Warriors beat whoever they face that sets them up great. Worse than last year or not, the stats show at the very least there is no team in the West that'll sweep them
Your optimism is endless 🤣 In all seriousness, I think our season relies on GP2 and Wiggins. If we get both back then we can win the whole thing. If not then we cannot.
The Warriors are simply amazing. They have been using everything and everyone in their roster. They are able to make their players better, even making klay thompson a play maker and be himself once again shooting better than ever.
I sure hope you're right. I'm watching this just to make myself feel better about the Warriors' prospected. I'm not as confident about them doing much in the playoffs this year. GPII should be back, but I doubt Wiggins will be.
One thing for sure that playoffs game is totally different game than a regular season game and Warriors are the most experience team in the league in the playoffs. Warriors are just a different animal in the playoffs.
The Ringer has a piece on dubs home/road splits and basically explain that their opponent's expected three-pointer percentage split is over 8%. They allow 40% on road and 32% at home, even though the shots they are giving up are almost identical in terms of spacing, contested, and location. It should have regressed back to normal by now, but it hasn't. Yet.
If Wiggins comes back and plays like his old self and GP2 comes back like he did last year.. I see the warriors winning it all again. They really did not struggle at all with any teams in the west last year.. they literally 4-1ed every team last year.. except for the Celtics which was in the finals. The warriors have a better Klay Thompson as well, they are for sure going to be alright if they get everyone back
Every year the Dubs rebuild the bench and adjust on the fly, this year is the youngest attempt at it but all the young kids are getting time which is needed in the playoffs, a full team. Not to mention the Dubs always turn up the intensity during the playoffs. 7 game series is all they need and a slightly above .500 record can get you series victories
imo the bucks not having giannis that game is worse than not having wiggins, kuminga and payton warriors went 73-9 with the big 3 on the court in 2016 those two rosters that game shouldnt be compared
Really? So you're saying that the Warriors are like "Let's fool everyone and at crucial moments where we need clamp down, we should just get outrebounded, create A LOT OF TURNOVERS, and get complacent and just shoot 3 pointers!" that's been the pattern on their 27 loses in away games, and the 8 loses at home. I watched every single game this season in frustration.
Don't want to break the optimistic bubble for GSW but it will no doubt take some games for Wigs and GP2 to gel with the others if and when they get back. Watching through the games where they have lost, GSW's own worst enemy appears to be GSW. TO's, giving away too many OREB's, going away from what had them winning the game. Sheeeshhhhh guys. They could have won against the Hawks but rather than keep going inside which helped them the whole game, they kept trying 3's when they were misfiring. Tick tock, the clock runs out eventually.
This guy is such an optimist, I don’t even know if the warriors will even make the playoffs to begin with tbh. And if they do, they’re gonna be out by the first round.
My problem with this video is that it assumes that the warriors are suddenly gonna turn it on as soon as the playoffs start, but if it would start today, they would still be at a massive disadvantage due to having no home court advantage which would likely lead to an early round exit due to how horrible they play on the road. I know you used examples of them playing amazing at home, but thats the problem. The are only good AT HOME. Now sure if they go win the chip at the end, I will take the L here. But I'm honestly sick and tired of the blind faith people have towards the warriors. Also even if Wiggins and gp2 come back, that doesn't magically fix all of their problems.
Honestly the only time the warriors are ever bad is when there players are injured or like absent like if the team is complete with everyone and there all like ready for the playoffs thats a good team.
Time will tell, but I suspect the only people fooling themselves are Warriors fans who subscribe to this sort of theory. They're not where they want to be, nor are they playing mind games with anyone. A lot of their younger guys have as much doubt to work through as anyone else has of them. But they are trying to turn a corner (and have been since January I'd say), and there's some hope that it'll come together. But they're not the only team doing that, and a lot has to click for them to be better than last year.
The warriors are too good if you want to know, you gotta check every detail about them , I will not be surprised if we repeat as NBA champ but I cannot wait to see Young Glove and Wiggs back in the rotation and also Kuminga with his explosiveness, I mean " no one wants to meet us in the postseason". Sheeesshh Guys 🔥😁💯
The Warriors are not going anywhere but home. I am just very very grateful and happy that Wiseman is out of there before they ruined his career. If Mike Brown was the coach Wiseman would still be there and be flourishing.
I've watched damn near every Warriors game this season and their defensive effort is the biggest difference between road games and home games. It really stood out in the away game against Memphis recently. Guys like Klay, Poole and even Donte were lazy on rotations and didn't seem to care about staying engaged. It seemed like they exerted more energy arguing with refs about bad calls than they did actually defending opponents. If you know the Warriors then you know they were always a top defensive team in their championship runs. When the defense is getting stops it makes the offense flow a lot smoother. It just seems like their chemistry is totally off on the road with all the fouls, turnovers, bad possessions, lack of ball movement etc. Then they go back to Chase center and play out of their minds.. I know Wiggins and GPII will help A LOT defensively but the post season is quickly approaching and it's gonna take time to integrate both guys. I believe in this team but time is running out and they need to figure it out quick. That low seeding is gonna require big road wins and it only gets harder to win on an opposing court in the Playoffs.
I don't think Wiggins should come back this season. Someone pointed out that his stats between returning from injury and the family matter happening were basically Timberwolves bad
When Wiggins & GP2 are back, do y'all believe the Warriors could beat a Kevin Durant led Suns?

TheySuns are trash without kd. They lost their anchor on defense in Mikal Bridges

The thing that people seem to forget is that all the warriors need is one road win in the playoffs.
This guy is such an optimist, I don’t even know if the warriors will even make the playoffs to begin with tbh. And if they do, they’re gonna be out by the first round.
Back again with another classic 👌🏾✨
I love this guy man 😂 everytime GSW wins he has something like this to post.
Golden state loses 5 games in a row
Hoop report : .....
Golden state win a game
Hoop report : the warriors are fooling everybody
fr lol, bro didn't even mention the grizzlies game
@@reloxxity6521 😂
Wow, Riley sure has grown up!!
Bro the important is now, clearly the warriors are struggling in the road,,,, but im still hoping gp2 and Wiggins will soon play the game...
The warrior meat riding is crazy
People were saying the exact same thing last year
My problem with this video is that it assumes that the warriors are suddenly gonna turn it on as soon as the playoffs start, but if it would start today, they would still be at a massive disadvantage due to having no home court advantage which would likely lead to an early round exit due to how horrible they play on the road.
Yeah. They had me when they were swept by Pacers and Pistons.
This is like the 5th vedio with the same title "The Warriors Are Still Fooling Everyone"
Warriors can be the 15th seed and HoopReports can still somehow make the case that they'll win the championships lol
The delusional level is just unstoppable 😂
I am a Warriors fan, and I hope your right, but I need to see some road wins, starting today against the Clippers!! Then I will be convinced!!
Nba analyst and he shows a picture of Steven a smith and Kendrick Perkins... dear god
“The receipts are piling up guys, The Receipts Are Piling Up” 😂 ☠️
OMG at 3:20 it’s the baddie from the Twitter Vid
Fr 😂
They beat up on the Suns without KD or Mikal Bridges. The warriors will go down this year. Mark it!
There actually 5th seed one last night 🖤🤞🏼
The warriors are too good if you want to know, you gotta check every detail about them , I will not be surprised if we repeat as NBA champ but I cannot wait to see Young Glove and Wiggs back in the rotation and also Kuminga with his explosiveness, I mean " no one wants to meet us in the postseason". Sheeesshh Guys 🔥😁💯
Another good one.
You were right last time… I hope you right again bro
curry against milwauke the other day was pure mamba mentality
Bruh j love how in the video u compared Kuminga GP2 Wiggins to Giannis like u a clown.
Everyone on that warriors bandwagon it’s so funny
This dude is just casually exposing the Warrior's plans.
I knew it from the start. It’s what champions do
I don't think Wiggins should come back this season. Someone pointed out that his stats between returning from injury and the family matter happening were basically Timberwolves bad
