What are your thoughts on using a Carolina rig for windy days? Seems like it would help get the bait/lure out there and keep it close to the bottom.

I went to the Inlet side of Rudee and it was ridiculously windy. I wish you could bank fish at Owl Creek. Gonna try Lynnhaven.

Do you use the Ike Jime method (spike to the head) for the fish that you keep? As opposed to just letting it suffocate.

Get you a small bucket for your anchor line, feed it in, don’t loop it. No more tangles! Enjoy!

Always nice Video, u were looking for suggestions: Lake Phelps NC, 2 hr south big bass! U can only fish the low wind side so yaks or ne wind only. Also liked the Roanoke river striper videos! Wade fishing back bay, west side. Back bay surf fishing.
Hey how about lake Drummond? Hint minnows 3 to 6” deep bobbers south shore at tree line. Crappie! Y’all have yaks eastern shore behind smith island shallows! In NE wind only. Y’all fishing same old haunches, explore , hey wade fish for big bass out of Charles krualt place just past bridge to knotts island, go out to gap on rt, 2-3ft deep. Wade fish in a tube like the good old days in back bay.

At the entro, I said to myself that looks like you need to try and hide from the wind, fish a wind blown point or flat with a gold spoon or a Down South paddle tail.

I catch a lot of reds on windy days. I think the reds like wind because it stirs up stuff from the bottom. Good video guys.
