I still think that Quill should have survived the snap. Him surviving would mean that he would actually have to live with the consequences of his decision, and it would have been a _golden_ opportunity for character development/maturity over those 5 years. When the time heist came, he would have seen it as an opportunity to redeem himself, and he'd be a _much_ better leader of the Guardians as a result.
Instead, we saw Rocket live with the consequences of Quill's decision, and we don't see Quill take any sort of responsibility for what he did.

And sadly he'd never be able to rest. For me, the MCU ended with Endgame. It started with Tony Stark becoming Iron Man, and ended with his death. I'd say he used the second life that Yinsen gave him pretty well. He definitely didn't waste it.
There's a difference between "can't be blamed," and "did something for no reason."
Him hitting Thanos was _absolutely_ done for a reason, and an understandable one at that. Thanos killed someone he loved.
However, the reason for him doing it bears no relevance on the consequences of his actions. He can have an understandable reason, but that doesn't change the fact that him hitting Thanos breaks the trance, and dooms half the universe.
If we let someone off the hook for putting their feelings ahead of the mission, the military wouldn't even be a thing, as our emotions rarely perfectly line up with the mission.
He has relatable motives, but he's still definitely responsible for the plan failing.

I feel like there would've been a chance that Nebula would've pointed that out either way since the stone was on the gauntlet. She does point out that Thanos came back with the soul stone and without Gamora which then would've still lead to Peter hitting Thanos and so on. But if there is anything to prove what I said differently, please let me know! :)

@@MO.bazziii or the line was just an excuse for their lazy writing, Wanda was literally in the process of destroying one of the stones so if they got the gauntlet off, strange could just hide them like he did the soul stone or portal to earth and have Wanda destroy more stones. Thanos had no way to get to earth fast enough and when Thor shows up on Wakanda he stomps Thanos' forces.
Another what if.
What if in the 14,000,605 outcomes strange saw. He just stop on where he saw one possible outcome they won. What if he saw 3/4 more outcomes where they win in the 15m outcomes. That would be great lol
@@MO.bazziii no thanos would be completely overpowered regardless of if they killed him or not. It was just a way to run out the plot so they can make a second movie with thanos as the villain.
I would argue that this doesn't necessarily retcon the 1 in14,000,000 thing. Reason being, that line was spoken after the gauntlet scene. It very well could have been that up until that point there were still multiple paths they could take. But once they missed their chance at the path which ends up with the gauntlet being removed, they only had the one chance left. That chance being the 1 in 14,000,000.
The 1 in 14 million line was spoken by Strange BEFORE they tried to remove the Guantlet from Thanos’ hand.
Hey MissedThePart! I loved you have theorized the very possible outcome of one simple change. But considering that Dr. Strange saw 14,000,605 futures to their fight with Thanos, there is no way that he could have missed this part.
Remember that the winning outcome was only after 5 years from then, so he foresaw almost everything from the next minute till the next 5 years or maybe more than that.
So, my point here is that even if the theory shows that Thanos was defeated, infinity stones were destroyed (some and not all) and they all lived happily every after; there is something missing in this theory. Otherwise, stopping Starlord from hitting Thanos was not very difficult for the Sorcerer Supreme.

Great fanfiction! I really enjoyed this new possible outcome you created. My only issue is that since the heroes didn't destroy the time stone, thanos could've easily recovered it and used it to turn back time and get all the stones back again, even before the guardians would've killed him in your timeline. But that's just a small nitpick. Otherwise, this was a great video!

Most movie adaptations of comic books, (-and some movies that weren't comic books before too, depending on themes) have their own comic book adaptations of movie story plots. They tend to be a way to both promote and merchandise and are often released before the films...
(Often with semi Canon plot points; like sometimes things that were cut from film/script, but in original storyboarding etc)

I think you have Thanos giving up too easily after losing the gauntlet. He's a powerhouse who smacked down the Hulk fairly easily without having to use the power stones. He's not going to just give up without a fight.
Thanos was waiting to get his hands on the time stone, if they removed the gauntlet, Thanos wouldn't have hesitated to use deadly force on any of them with his brutal strength and no mercy. Most likely the death of Stark, Like Strange said..only one win. That means even if they did, the Avengers lost.

Strange only went over 14 million and since there is an infinite possibilities there are infinite ways to win and lose in this scenario

In one of his visions, Dr Strange would have tried stopping star-lord but that too would have ended up wiping half the universe that is why strange did not make any attempts to stop Star-lord.

Answer: They all would have lost, there’s only one way they could win and that’s the one we saw.
Only one out of 14 million Dr strange saw. Mathematically there could be infinite alternate realities meaning there could be infinite other ways the avengers could have won. Meaning this win is completely valid.

I'm tired if people blaming only Peter for Thanos' victory. Part of that movie is that a lot of them messed up somewhere. The whole Sokovia Accords dividing the team, Tony just wanting to face Thanos head on, Thor at the end could've killed Thanos, but didn't, Dr. Strange for not using the time stone (granted he already knew the outcome so it couldn't be helped), the Hulk (even though at the end Bruce didn't really need him, and Hulk really can't do much against the infinity gauntlet).
My point is a lot of people messed up, and Peter just lost his Dads, then his girlfriend. I probably would've snapped to

Tony gets to keep his most possible future with his daughter and actually stays alive to be in her life, Steve is still young and Captain America, Ant Man won't get stuck and miss years of his daughter's life, and Peter and all the disappeared never dissappear and lose years of their life either.

My question is similar to an old one I've asked before: Why doesn't Capt. Kirk or Picard or whomever simply beam away big chunks of an enemy ship's hull, or half the ship's warp drive or transport a huge bomb on board? @@jerico.b that sword was made with Uru or some other metal stronger than vibranium. That also goes for his armor in that final fight. I'm amazed they even stood a chance considering only Cap and Thor were wielding weapons made out of Uru (Stormbreaker and Mjolnir) .

Capt America, Ironman and Thor with hammer and axe can't defeat Thanos without any infinity stone. If Starlord did not punch him, they still loose
Thor and captain America almost killed them on their own when he had the gauntlet and Thor was fat (they also had mjolnir but that still isn’t as strong as the gauntlet)
Some people blame only Starlord for how it the movie turned out, but there’s some obvious solutions, some we all know about, some that we came up in our minds. Obviously it was done for the movie, showing Starlord is a more “doing before thinking” type of guy. Makes me think about how helpful Starlord would’ve been in Infintiy War/Endgame if he still had his celestial powers, and knew how to control em.

Strange's precognition suggests that the one and only way to succeed was this path - that StarLord doing this was a key part of reaching the good(ish) ending. Thanos had to win the battle so he could lose the war.

Actually tony had plan, he always know what he is doing , as soon as dr strange explains to him about stones he headed to fight thanos on his own with spidy and dr , if gaurdians didnt enter this fight tony would have won the fight with his plan.

Not to be cliche, but I guess Dr. Strange missed this time line. This is the first video I've seen of this channel, but so far so good! I love looking at & imagining other timelines in the Marvel multiverse. Two quick suggestions, though: try spicing up the language with words like "ensued" instead of happened", or "asserted" instead of "told". Also, try to avoid long sentences with multiple 'and's & 'because's; it just keeps them from flowing well & makes them a little hard on the ear. Otherwise, great job!
