no i think hakim was a real guy but najeeb met him while he was escaping..he asked him if he cld also escape with him but he said no cause his boss was watching him...i think this is what happened and then after he came back and book was published they tried asking and searching bout hakim in kerala and saudi but cldnt find a thing...dont know if he has escaped too and is still alive. I just realised that the story in the movie is very tweaked from original but its still good!
