Then, Wow~ what a deep, strong , and intensive emotion in it.
I didn't know that until listening to this version.
The lyric is like a king or a land lord who was defeated by the enemies and lost his regime.
And there was espionage involved.
After being defeated, he is now assembling men who will follow him to fight back and take back what was once his.
