It's okay but I'm surprised they're not using the Gladius combo with Axe legion. That's one of the best tactics in combat for file is use your Gladius full combo with the Axe Legion and have blue shield on so you can get out the full combo and it wrecks any enemies health bar. Also have attack up 15% or 25% on your axe legion's abilities.
I like how the boss starts off slow, as if it doesn't see you as a threat. But once you get it to half health, the song kicks in and it throws everything it has at you, as if it's saying "Okay, you've got my attention and now I'm gonna fucking destroy you."

Suferre Noktem That's exactly what i was thinking! Sure they're doing a good job at evading him but just playing it safe will make the battle much longer, which increase your chances of losing and having to do it all over again. And even if you do succeed your ranking will suffer cause you took so long. The trick is to play aggressive (at least in the first phase) but also to go for the howl stuns and backstabs. Each backstab has a chance of stunning him, thus letting you deal more damage to him, and if you keep hitting his back you'll keep stunning him, rinse and repeat. That's how i'm able to go through the first phase with relatively little issue. Hahahahahaha me too
Dlc will only come if the game sells well. Platinum games doesn't have any dlc to release any time soon. So go convince everyone you know to get astral chain.
@@thealmightyonion1196 yeah my answer was just kind of a joke because I know they deconfirm DLC pretty much
I'm having a blast with game. This boss fight looks amazing!
@@thealmightyonion1196 I believe they already confirmed that there was no DLC and that if this game did well they'll make it a series instead. Sad that there's no DLC but hey they confirmed today that the game did really well so we can expect a sequel sometime in the future.
Real fight begins at 7:14.
Took me 3 hours it was almost impossible but i beat aether and omg im so relieved i finally fully beat Astral Chain!!
1st time took me 7 hours and now the other four times took me half an hour to an hour
Who is Aether, and at what part in the game does it appear? Is it a postgame thing after beating the entire story once? And what's the deal with it? Is it more powerful than the final boss?
So if im not wrong i just beat the game today and after the ending you kind of get mission to clear , and its written 70th combat mission so this secret boss is after you finish the game
Historia But is there any context to Aether? Any cutscenes that explain its deal before you fight it or anything?
Boo Destroyer I was the one playing. After you beat the game, it’s technically called “Olive cases” and you have to beat 70 combat scenarios before you get to this boss. It’s NOT easy the last 20-30 fights were insane (Such as fighting 3 bosses at once 3 times). This is the very last fight.
Also no there’s no context to story with this boss as far as I know, all you get is a badge saying you defeated the most powerful chimera
My question is, why not fuse? 23:20
Fusing does not make you invincible by any means, had he fused right there and then he would have most likely gotten rekt.
How do you unlock the secret boss is it in New Game plus, because I was wondering about Secret bosses, and I couldn't find any sources on them in this game?
It's in postgame after you beat all 70 of Olive's cases
Is this real or fanmade. I’ve seen the same video on other channels. Exact same video. So is this a real in game fight or just a really realistic animation?
this is a real fight, i had to beat all 70 olive cases after you beat the game. those videos were ripped and copied off of this one >.>
RinHara5aki ok. Thanks
RinHara5aki you’re the best 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I can't believe after all that you get awarded a freaking empty can 😑
nice
Strongest enemy in the game and it drops a fucking empty can at the end...nice
I'm just curious I'm at post game and only like 7 or 6 files away from reaching aether how hard is it to perfect call aether's attacks when he is attacking you with his hand swords? (Edit) I seriously can't wait to reach this fight it looks so fun and definitely difficult
How do you get to this boss fight?
Beat all 69 missions then you fight this fiery foe
How are you able to have two Legions out at once? I didn't touch the post game content, so do you unlock it there?
You familiar with the Hit Rush attack almost all Legions learned? That attack unchains them as they attack on their own for a brief while. As they're attacking, you can switch to another Legion.
@@MrSentinel07 Oh, that's really clever. I never took much notice of the fact that it mentions they're unchained except that maybe Chain length wouldn't apply (though I ignored that stat as well), but I'd have never thought of that. That's brilliant.
is after the... Noah right? It comes to epic battle when the Secret Boss Aether is like the brother of Noah.
this is boss is on the fight files on chapter 12, you can call this the endgame content after you finish the story mode
Is that empty can made of solid gold like wtf kinda reward is that
It's the repeat reward...
so, there's no extra ending??
i had no idea there was a secret boss what
I know, I beat her 7 times in different ways. The trick is to go for the howl stun for both phases because phase two is relentless and you can’t get the stun with hit rush and combos with the axe Legion
Does anyone think it was an emissary for the astral plane's masters
What is the OST that plays throughout the fight? Its Really Good!
It's the OP
@@magnesg1459 it’s savior
Epic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sheesh.
Just beat it, second try. What a fight! Mine was faster tho, I believe it's possible to do this within 2 or 3 minutes with some luck.
Henrique Marques I think it took longer since they was playing on the most hardest difficulty
@@treaon511 Not really, the difficulty is preset since it's a file 12 mission.
@@henriquemarques4903 You can do this in under a minute fairly consistently, fastest speed is just over 30 seconds atm but I believe its possible to do in under 20.
@@Abarax Right. I didn't know about confusion strats and such back then.
So do I find this boss?
