So true... Sometimes you just have to block them out.. Or i will tell homeowner go and look at your thermostat until it turns to blue or red color..and let me know if it does...but stay there to let me know.. Then when im done .they say..it didn't turn color blue or red....i say perfect..it means thermostat is working good... All set..
I would like to inform you, esteemed, that we are talking with the radar, with the co-pilot, with the flight attendant, and at the same time we fly the plane and land with it, and there are many stupid people on board and those who repair air conditioners with the iPad
Experienced guy came over. Told me to put old honeywell back on instead of touchscreen honeywell i had bought, sceptical at first but it started cooling again lol after 2 days i put the touchscreen back on and it still was cooling again....this ac world is crazy.
When I"m troubleshooting a fuse blown situation I use a fuse that can reset as a tool so I don't waste fuses. I put a regular fuse in and keep the reset fuse for a tool
I SH!T YOU NOT! The call I was on right before I watched this video was that exact same thermostat! The lady said that after she put the thermostat on herself the blower motor would turn on sporadically for a few seconds and then turn back off. Lowe's must have had a good sale on that particular thermostat recently. 😆😆😆👍
Is that things You suggest to send it and code it Is in oil detector call another word oil catch filter? Is that the same things when you leave work to loop of the pipes before entering the building for the same reason?(Oil detecting) So the oil back to the system to protect the compressor? Thanks

Of course I’m right ... everybody watch your video Realize that you don’t have any experience go and read the comments ...will try to take your dog with you so he can try his chance To watch and built-up his 10 years of experience on HVAC Like your 10 of years experience.
Homeowner’s should refrain from changing out thermostats unless they understand the 24 volt wiring scheme. Had that fuse not been in the circuit, placing even a momentary short, (24 v red to common) would have killed the 24 v transformer. That can be an expensive learning experience❗️Always turnoff power to the furnace BEFORE beginning a thermostat installation. The Honeywell installation guide stresses that point. I guess many homeowner’s fail to read and heed the instructions.☹️
Honeywell T6 Pro here. Junk. Heater comes on, Fan comes on, Thermostat gets power on screen. I put an order Trane thermostat from 20 yrs back on "without a blue wire" and it works fine. Avoid Honeywell. It worked for awhile but changing the power and suddenly it stopped.
hi steve i have been a Subscriber to your channel for about a year now i just lost my dog on april 21 2020 his name was spottee and he love miss moly ever time i watch you viedo and Mention Miss Molly’s name he would get all Excited he was a jack Russell and Chihuahua
Although I’m not a plumber or HVAC tech I have heard most of the conversations people start about their dogs, blah blah lol I’ve been in IT for a long time and you have to do the dreaded chit chat with people while you work on their equipment and it’s just like those...you go along with it lol
So homeowner guy didn’t turn off the unit when he changed thermostat? It’s only 24V so it’s not dangerous (to humans)!! Power off and you won’t short out.

how come you don't test the amp draw on the compressor
Miss Molly was said she was ready to go she saw that she was almost dog napped by the homeowner
Pareces bromear y reír, refugiado
Gahden hose to keep it clean! Thanks for the vid! Happy 4th!
LOL, Made my whole day! "Just pushed out a fritz over there on the grass" We all love Molly!
Hey Steve, what’s your recommended brand of unit? I’ve heard you talk about some in your videos but I was just curious if you had a go to.
Guy goes into garage- dang I have every color Rustoleum but black. Off to the hardware store :)
When I"m troubleshooting a fuse blown situation I use a fuse that can reset as a tool so I don't waste fuses. I put a regular fuse in and keep the reset fuse for a tool
Do you have any videos of your service truck.. is it a grummen
How about cust changed stat, blew fuse. Happens every time they buy one from Home Depot
Home owner was correct, unit manufactured Sept. 2005.
protect those Bee's Knee's Steve! Another great video, have a great 4th of July.
Expensive call out for a simple electrical short resulting in a blown fuse.
Well, I would not know what to do, either, not everyone can 😡😡😡😡

a Fritz.. Now that's a name I haven't heard in years. :) next level mama
Customer will boost cooling and reduce electric bill by moving trash can away from outside unit so it can breathe.
Same issue on our unit but we have a gas furnace, dont see a fuse in any of the wiring at the furnace
Hey can you sent me the link to buy the gauges you use thank you ! Great work
Device call, diagnostic fee, plus fuse cost! Not bad call. Customers need to leave shit alone, it’s cheaper!
Tom... Amen to that... thanks...
