Omg this is easier than I thought it would be I literally tried so hard to figure out how to read Alpha patterns and they looked so hard, now that I understand they're actually pretty easy thank you for the tutorial💕💕💕
i just finished 3 normal pattern bracelets and i think i'm ready to start practicing on alpha designs! thank you so much for this tutorial aaaaa you explained it in such an easy-to-understand way!!
You do color switches a lot different than other people. It’s so much easier! I’ve been making alphas for months now and i’ve just started using your technique of color switches and it is SO much easier
I really like the way you explain how to make the bracelets! No matter what bracelet I'm making and no matter what channel I'm watching, I only understand you.
As someone who has been doing friendship bracelets for years and has always been baffled by alpha patterns, THANK YOU. My partner recently requested a bracelet and I wanted to learn and I feel so much more confident
Wow! I have been looking for a tutorial for alpha bracelets, and all of the ones I watched were so complicated, but yours is just great! it really helped! Great video, thanks a lot!!!
Your base strings (your red ones) can be any color. Atleast that's what I do. Because you will only see it at the end knots or if your making a bracelet; the ties. It could even be black too as long as you dont get confused which string is which
Also there's the straight edges technique!! Which instead of just doing a backward knot/ forward knot on the edges you do and backward forward / forward backward knot!! So it won't make the little bumps on the side. 💗:)
I did my first successful alpha keychain today. It was a Christmas one on braceletbook and it looks so good thanks to you teaching me. Now I have the urge to make another and it's 11pm-
i kept seeing your tiktoks of your keychains and i was like how the hell can someone possibly make that, and here i am, already made 5 them because of you! now everyone in my family and friends is like teach me! and i just send them your vid! haha 💗
i love your videos so much! do you think you could do a tutorial on how to add strings mid way through the bracelet? i saw this really cool space bracelet that i wanted to do, but it required different strings half way in the bracelet for the planets. i was just curious on how this would be accomplished. thanks for much!!!💞
Thank you so much! I was so sad that I messed up my pattern, and this helped me make sense of it! You are really good at explaining too, so thank you!!
A good way to keep track where ur at but not marking the paper so u can use the pattern again is taking masking tape and moving the one piece down every time u complete the row
Hi! I just discovered this channel after taking an interest in making bracelets. You are perfect at explaining things and I want to learn how to make some alphas for some friends 😄
OMG i almost gave up making these type of bracelets bc the other tutorials were so confusing and then at 5am YT randomly recommended me this video and i finally understood i'm gonna cry
i’m so glad you made this tutorial. on masha’s tutorial (Masha Knots) i messed up badly. but currently i’m following what your doing! i will update whether i passed or failed
i have to say thank you a lot :D I couldn't (for me) find any videos on how to do this until I found you. Now I'm done watching this I'm going to make an overwatch alpha bracelet heh
this was such a good video, i just had a few questions. so you start with your 9 strings of your base color, and then do you add one string of your background color? and how do you add that string in?
You just do a forward knot with that background color onto the base string and just go on with the pattern. Once you finish you can either cut off the excess thread or put some clear nail polish over it and attach it to the back. However, you can include the background string in your bracelet. If you have a pattern with 12 strings (including the background one) then what you could do is when cutting the strings you include your background color. If I were to make a loop, I would fold them in half. This would leave me with one colored base string and a super long string then you will begin using to weave the background of the pattern. I hope this made sense! I’m not totally sure if it does... 🤭🤪
hey if you know it can you do a tutorial on the braided stitch/basket weave bracelet? some of the tutorials are suuuuper old and hard to understand, and you do tutorials super well, so anyways that’s just a suggestion.
But if you need 18 strings to make the pattern and do the loop , you need Two strings , one would be used to tie the other strings and the other would be added then it would be 19 strings and the pattern would not work out how do I make a loop without destroying the pattern?
Sorry I don’t quite understand, how do you know when it a forward knot and when it’s a backwards knot? Also how do u pick which colour will be your base colour?
Myutube Acc when the strings on the left of the bracelet, or you want the know to be the colour of the left string, do a forward knot. If the strings in the right, or the right string is the colour you’d like the knot, do a backward knot Any colour for the base string as you usually don’t see it
lmao its like 1 am and I'm literally crying because I figured out how to do them and I'm so grateful that you made this tutorial :'D
This is amazing I’ve never understood anything with bracelets better

How du you make the rows straight and not like the candystriped bracelets? 💟👍🏻
just pull them tight. you can kinda move your knots up by pushing them when you finished the row, and that will help keep it straight
kinsey b Thank you for this video and for the explaining! I did a wave bracelet, using your tutorial. It was super helpful!
Also there's the straight edges technique!! Which instead of just doing a backward knot/ forward knot on the edges you do and backward forward / forward backward knot!! So it won't make the little bumps on the side. 💗:)
Holy crap, your sooo goood at explaining lmao
I can’t unsee the pattern as a blue flamingo with a red shadow😂😂🤣
