I was a severe alcoholic for years and prayed to Jehovah to save me from it. He answered my prayer and June 16th of 2024 will be a year sober. Praise God!
It is not God who has saved you, but you alone with your will for a change... It is only you who is responsible for having given up this bad habit... Your strength comes from you.
i liked how they were willing to listen carefully and were very honest, very patience, polite ppl that u talked 2 !! u definetly planted a seed amen! 🙏
If I end up in the pit it’s because I earned it, I’ve struggled my whole life with the flesh and still do .. I question myself because I don’t bare any good fruit, help me Lord Jesus I need you, he saved me from the pit in my youth due to poor choices and i know your still here with me I surrender my life to you Lord Jesus.
Friend, we _all_ struggle with sin. Remember, Paul talked about that very thing. The fact that we _struggle_ with it indicates that we are His. (Not to condone continuing in sin; far from it!) But, you are here, watching the Gospel being shared. You say God saved you, not that you got "lucky." You say you surrender your life to Jesus, and call Him Lord. I am not the Judge, but those things look like bearing fruit to me. Read your Bible daily. Share the gospel, as Ray does, with everyone you can. Serve others. Fix your eyes, ears and heart on Jesus. And we'll meet soon enough in the clouds. With the love of the King of Kings, Maranatha!
Thank you for sharing. We all struggle but when you continually turn from sin (and don't play the hypocrite as Ray says) then God sanctifies you more and more with each passing day. The next thing you know it has been 2 years since you've sworn, and 3 years since you've looked at porn, and 5 years since you've talked negatively about that person you once hated... the list goes on and on. He makes you NEW with new righteous desires. The old is gone, the new has come! Thank you for sharing. God bless.
I was trans & bi for 24yrs and Jesus Christ set me free as soon as I fully believed in Him! No one is too far gone to be saved and changed through Christ Jesus. Everyone needs to hear The Gospel and deserves a chance to have that seed grow. Pray for God to make a way for me to preach at pride events this month, as I no longer seem to have a ride.
God healed you! That's an amazing testimony, and miracle, I would say!? Gives me more hope for my neice, who is gay, to be saved and transformed. We have shared the gospel with her, and she still comes around. I pray for her daily and continue to share God's word, even the tough stuff that's hard to hear. Thank you for sharing! ❤😊
There is a but an ephemeral moment when the Holy Spirit comes to one. Embrace it. Repentance is hard. The Lord My God Jesus Christ died for my sin and payed my fine. Daily I am tempted by my own thoughts. Lust. Pride. Selfishness. It is a struggle. Sometimes I pray that Jesus holds my hand. Sometimes I pray that He carries me. I am nothing without The Lord Jesus Christ. Have mercy.
It's about your new identity. As the new person you are, there are things that you no longer have an interest in. Since it's not part of who you are. Your human and animal brain will cause you to initially look at a beautiful woman, but after that instant you get to use the frontal lobe of your brain that God gifted us with to make a decision. The decision you make is a result of your identity. A result of who you are. What if you are trying to crucify a lustful person who you no longer are? What if you realize that you are no longer that person? What if you realize that you have a new identity and you love to that? If you don't embrace the opportunity to use your frontal lobe to decide when you will not follow the lusts/promptings of your flesh, then, by definition you are living as an animal. If a man lives on instinct like an animal, with no thought to his actions... well, then how "human" is that man? Or is he just an animal that does not think before acting on primal impulses? (I'm not claiming that I have it all figured out!!! But hopefully something in here is, perhaps, somewhat helpful.... maybe? ;)
@robertleslie2467 Once you've turned from your sins, and trust in Christ, He's right in the midst of it all. May the Father reveal that to you❤ I love you! May God bless you abundantlyy❤

Seems like a bunch of confused people on here that don’t understand the process, Jesus told his earthly cousin who was the forerunner for him ( John the Baptist) baptize me so the prophecy can go forth …. Baptism is apart of your salvation although if the holy ghost fall on you before water 💦 baptism, Peter encouraged the men at cornillus house, can any man forbid water 💦? And told them to get baptized. Jesus said at John 3 v 5 man cannot “ enter the kingdom of God unless “ they are born by water 💦 and spirit. No water 💦 no getting in the kingdom
So many lost people who think they're Christians because they were baptized as an infant, or repeated the sinner's prayer in an emotional high from a crusade or because they went to church as a child, or because their family told them they were Christian... May they find true repentance through the working of the Holy Spirit and be born again through Jesus Christ's atoning mercy and grace.

Thank you Ray for another uplifting sharing of the Gospel. It is the highlight of my day to watch these. I pray for that man, as a dad, because it is so important to be a leader in your family, especially a spiritual leader. I pray that he will truly repent and place his faith in our Lord and be reborn once and for all.....then lead his daughter on the same path....Blessings to all from Texas..
Lord God bless this father and his precious daughter. He needed to hear this, we all have and praise God for that. The Holy Spirit will continue to lead this young father. ❤ God bless you both. It was so nice they listened all the way through, not many people talk seriously enough about such things. The Gospel is such Good news and all ways will be.
It's really sad when a person uses Gods name as a cure word so often they don't even think about it. I find that really really sad. I confess to all reading this, I used God's name twice, I can remember where I was, the hour and the circumstances for saying GD. Even though that was 32 yrs ago it still upsets me to this very day. I knew it was wrong yet I still did it out of anger.
I’ve never heard someone actually say they’ll subscribe right there. It’s like he wants to change everything but doesn’t know how to. I pray he is able to learn how.
I have now Grad from school. And I have heard a lot of Blaspheming in my school. And some are even Christians. But I don't call them Christians if they blasphem. I hope they repent.
she was wearing clothes with a character from chainsaw man on it i am the biggest anime fan and everyone else seemed to like chainsaw man but i watched half an episode and did not feel comfortable watching anymore than that
@@realteamwallthey're considered devils in the series, yes, though while they use that name, it's not exactly like real life demons. They're more the culmination of humanity's fears that give them their abilities, so there are "devils" of pretty much every various fear, as far as I understand it. It's an odd choice of nomenclature if you ask me, but maybe it means more than I'm aware of in the series. It's certainly a well-written but hard-to-recommend series, especially to Christians, not just for that but also for the amount of sexual content in it, sadly. The premise is interesting, and the psychological aspect to the series is really well done, but it has to be with great caution and if there's any conviction to stop watching/reading, like you had, we must keep looking to our Saviour and obeying Him before everything and be willing to lay everything down for Him. God bless.
Yeah I like Chainsaw Man as an action show but Id never wear this type of clothe and *all* characters in this show are way too obnoxious and nihilistic. It seems that these young people are probably Christians by cultural identification, they havent been baptized by the Holy Spirit yet.
😢💖GOD Bless you all my Sister's & Brothers from other Mother's .. we're all in this life together & I 💞Love you all .. in 💖JESUS name i / we pray 🙏Amen. 😘💋😍💞💖😊🇺🇸🙏😇👍
@Quint-ib4nf Actually it's been said for about 2000 years. "Soon" meaning "at any moment." But current events are definitely telling us the time is getting closer.
@Quint-ib4nf Hmm ... I remember the Bible itself saying that folks would be saying exactly what you just did. 😉 Seriously, we don't know the day or the hour, that's true. But God didn't leave us in the dark regarding the timing of His return either. "When you see all these things begin to happen, lift up your eyes; your redemption draweth near!" It's up to us, then, to study and know the signs of His return. This decade? This year? Tomorrow? Could be! Regardless, it should motivate us to live fully for Him, and share the Gospel with everyone we can, right?
Awesome, God bless you, Gabriel and daughter. Let this day be the day of change and guide her out of a road to 'nowhere' into eternal life in Jesus Christ.
Lust is a hard sin to fight. It's easy to not physically act out lustful desires, but it's very hard to look away when half dressed beautiful women in yoga pants are at every turn.. I turn to God immediately anytime those situations occur and have become much stronger from doing so. It's a daily battle fighting sin but I wouldn't want it any other way on this fallen world. TY Jesus! Love ya, Ray.. Peace be with you my Brother. Peace be with all of you reading this.. ")

"I'm a Christian, and I'm a good person." This has to be the best line of 2023 and 2024. My heart breaks inside whenever I hear those words strung together. It's always said with such hubris, as if to say, "Of course I'm going to make it to Heaven because God sees how good I am." As if Christ's sacrifice wasn't needed. We need to pray for that guy because you can tell he doesn't quite grasp with the gospel. Pray the Holy Spirit opens both their minds.
I regret my children and I went to watch the movie "IF" 🙄, I checked reviews and said it was a decent family movie and nothing woke...but yet, I found it very disturbing how many times they took God's name in vain, even the children did too😔
@wilford789 yep. Not anything super bad, but definitely not what I want my kids hearing and repeating. D@mn and he'll in particular. I will be more careful screening what they watch from now on.
I spent 40 years in the orthodox church and other denominations but I was not a true follower of our Lord until recently, the world is full of cultural christians who acknowledge the gospel, yet they have not truly repented and have no understanding of the gospel. Hope these lovely people test to see if they are in the faith.
Listening to AC/DC will open you up to demonic activity! “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” - Ephesians 5:11 (KJV)
The only thing I do different when witnessing to someone is I don’t say that you have to tune from your sins first and then trust in Jesus Christ and the reason I don’t is because if I tell them that first they have to stop sinning that’s the same as telling them that have to do works first before they put their trust in Jesus Christ. We will be repenting of our sins until the day we draw out last breath.
hm... Jesus used the repent first. Mark 1v15: Repent and believe the gospel. It seems that John the baptist did the same thing. I dont believe saying "repent" first means that we have to do works, or Jesus won't have done that. Repent is a matter of the heart, it shows your concern for the things of God and your desire to obey him. Then of course, youll stay away from sin your whole life, you will flee satan, and that will be a fruit: it will show that you are truly saved. God bless, it's just my two cents on this :)
See this is something that confuses me… on one hand I’ve heard that even after repenting for salvation, naturally you’re still going to struggle with sin for as long as you live on this earth. On the other I hear Ray saying “true repentance is a result of forsaking your sins” or something along those lines. How can anyone truly repent if they will continue to struggle with sin for the rest of their lives? Doesn’t that sound like a work-based salvation? I was under the impression that faith alone saves, but the fact that it’s only genuine if you try to seemingly improve the quality of your performance (which sounds like an act of good works, aka filthy rags to God) just tears me apart so much on the inside I just don’t know who to believe…
John. That’s a huge deception. I hope this changes your mind: Some maintain that repentance is simply a change of mind about Jesus. That it has nothing to do with sin. All we have to do is believe in Jesus. That is change our minds about Him. I’m not concerned about these people. They have their minds made up no matter what I say. What concerns me is those they influence with their unsound doctrine. So, does repentance mean to turn from your sins of lying, stealing blasphemy, fornication, adultery and idolatry, or does it simply mean to turn from the sin of unbelief? Scripture makes it clear that repentance is turning from sins (plural): Ezekiel 18:21-23: “But if the wicked will TURN FROM ALL HIS SINS that he hath committed…” Acts 3:19: “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, THAT YOUR SINS MAY BE BLOTTED OUT…” (Note: this is “sins,” not the “sin” of unbelief). Acts 3:26: “Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, IN TURNING AWAY EVERY ONE OF YOU FROM HIS INIQUITIES.” (Again, “Iniquities” is plural. Not the singular sin of unbelief). Luke 24:47: “And that repentance and remission of sins (sins, plural) should be preached in his name among all nations…” Revelation 2:21-22 (emphasis added): “And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.” “Deeds”-Plural If repentance is just a change of mind about Jesus, why does the Bible speak of godly sorrow producing repentance: “For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation…” (2 Corinthians 7:10). Godly sorrow clearly means to be sorry for sin. When David was confronted by Nathan for his adultery and murder, he didn’t just have a mind-change. His repentance came from godly sorrow. He spoke of being cleansed from his sin, saying it was evil in God’s sight: “Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned, And done this evil in Your sight.” (Psalm 51:1-4). The Amplified Bible translates the Greek and Hebrew languages: From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent [change your inner self-your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life], for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17 AMP Listen to scripture as it addresses sinners telling them to be sorry for their sins: “Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom” (James 4:8-9). “And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.” Revelation 9:21 Notice again, murders, sexual immorality and thefts. Not simply unbelief. Proponents of the “just believe” doctrine say that we are saying to stop sinning-like Jesus said to the woman caught in the act of adultery: “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” (John 8:11). “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.” (John 5:14). A Christian stops SERVING sin. He perpetually turns from it. This is called the FRUIT of repentance. It’s evidence of salvation, not the reason for it. Those who maintain that turning from sin is a work at the same time say that sinners must “believe” to be saved. In other words they have to “do” something-they have to believe. That’s works-righteousness. We are saved by grace alone without works (see Ephesians 2:8-9) and the way to obtain grace is to do what Jesus said to do, “repent and believe” (Mark 1:5).
@@luvscxrs8606 It's not about improving your performance. It's about growing your faith and obedience to God's Word. You can't claim to be a follower of Jesus and disobey Him, just like how you can't claim to be someone's friend and intentionally do things they don't like. We will always struggle with sin, Ray himself says he STILL struggles with lust at times. It's all about doing our best to live in the same way Jesus did. We should long to be a reflection of Him. That's why turning from sin is important.
@@wilford789 I see. Ultimately I do have a longing to become a reflection of Jesus, I just continue to struggle so much with letting go of the sins of my flesh it leads me to question the authenticity of my faith in him. I have been brought to tears through the guilt I carried from my sins and cried out to God saying I am sorry and that I am a sinner in need of saving through the blood of Jesus. At times it feels like I’m losing my mind over why I still sin the way that I do, but I never really tried to make efforts to turn away from it until earlier this year. I want to call it repentance but I can’t tell if I’m going about it the right way despite my prayers to find answers. Still, I understand that it’s a process, and I don’t plan on losing the faith I have built up to this moment anytime in this life.
I used to recognize that taking God’s Name in vain was wrong but I never really saw the weight in it. I wouldn’t do it myself but I’d see it as wrong because God said it’s wrong. But recently, hearing the blasphemous remark finally didn’t sound natural to me anymore. I finally realized “that’s someone’s name right there you’re randomly saying.” It would be as if someone got frustrated and said “stupid Michael!” regarding someone in the same room, and it’s not just repeating a random assortment of letters. It’s deadly serious.

I´m a devout Christian, but calling someone a "lying, stealing, fornicating, blasphemous adulterer in heart who will probably go to hell" (even if that´s true) is not gonna help people to repent.
Thats 90% of people in the church...still listen to worldly music and endorse things thats arent righteous...even people in the music ministry..do it with the wrong motive..who knows maybe the pastor isn't taking time to really care and disciple the flock..too busy writing sermons but thats only part of it..its like doing someone only half a favor.

On the contrary, we as Christian’s we need to have discernment on the things that we call entertainment, because we can contaminate our minds, souls. Romans 12:2
Thank you Jesus ❤️ Over my lifetime I have experienced losses, tragic losses. I lost my father to a semi truck crash. Lost my husband of 20-yrs together in the line of duty (a cop). Just when I thought life has had its toll on me, God began doing miracles. I gave a quarter of funds from the public safety officers' benefit program (folks thought I was delusional). Today I keep getting $67,000.00 monthly. God has restored so much for me.
It is the digital market. That's been the secret to this wealth transfer. A lot of folks in the US and abroad are getting so much from it, God has been good to my household Thank you Jesus
I like Ray and his ministry work. I do disagree with his definition of taking God’s name in vain. Saying GD is not taking God’s name in vain because “God” is not His name. And no I do not cuss and say GD. Not making an excuse for cussing. There is scripture that basically says do not let any filthy talk come out of your mouth. That would include cussing. Taking the Lord’s name in vain is someone that claims to be a follower of the God of the Bible, Yahweh, but doesn’t live by his commands but is a hypocrite. This is how it is defined in the OT.
Some thoughts for you: The argument has become popular that “God” is not the Creator’s Name. It’s just a title. Therefore using “God” as an exclamation (in place of a cuss word) isn’t blasphemy because it’s not His Name. Forgive me, but for the sake of making an important point, I’m going to be very explicit. If I said that the sitting Governor of our State is nothing but an idiot, I may not be using his name directly, but I’m horribly dishonoring him as a person. The Governor (his title) and his name are the same person. When “God!” is used as a exclamation, it’s used as a substitute to express disgust. It is taking it in vain-counting it as nothing. The Name of Jesus is used in that very context with the common exclamation “bejesus”: Etymology: alteration of by Jesus -- (interjection) used as a mild oath; -- (noun) runny poop You scured [scared] the bejesus out of me. www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=scured Such a context shows the utter contempt that human beings have for their Creator. They hate Him because He demands moral restraint and accountability. Definition of blasphemy: “the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for God.” www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/blasphemy Jesus warned that every idle word men speak, they will have give an account of on the Day of Judgment (see Matthew 12:36).
@@raycomfortjustwitnessing My argument is one based on the definition of what the Bible says is taking the Lord’s name in vain. In reality there are many Christians that use the Lord’s name in vain by saying one thing and publicly acting another way. That is the scriptural meaning. Not saying GD. There are other verses that cover foul language. Which is what GD is, foul language.
I respect Ray's approach to witnessing except for one major issue... surely Ray missed the point of the verse about Jesus saying " he never knew you". This was aimed at Pharisees at the time who trusted in their own goodness, and their own self righteousness and not trusting alone in Jesus's salvation through grace and not their good works. if you are truly saved , ask for forgiveness and trust in Jesus as your savior, the moment you do this, you are granted 3 things, a place in heaven, the holy spirit in your heart as a promise of your salvation and your name is written in the book of life. These are 3 things that will never be taken away. These "fake christians " are not saved because they never truly trusted Jesus to take away their sins and save them. They trust in their own goodness to wipe out their sins. Where sin abounds, grace abounds more. Jesus died once for all sins, yes even the ones after Christians are saved. He also died to free us of addictions and strongholds, which is something ray is missing on. The battle is the lord's , especially for sin struggles after you have been saved. You will never lose the Holy Spirit if you willingly commit sins after salvation. Ray seems to believe otherwise. It's a fallacy to claim that Christians never sin after salvation. We are day by day becoming sanctified by the work of Holy spirit and the renewing of our mind. By this process we will desire sin less and desire to follow Jesus more and pursue his ways instead of our own.
What's with these comments under every Ray comfort video where people say they get 100k dollars a month and everyone praise some random person and say what a blessing they are. These comments are ridiculous. What has getting wealthy to do with the gospel? Nobody seems to say anything about these comments either. I'm guessing it must be bots and everyone replying to the comments are also bots. Sounds like some sort of scam preying on people that believe in prosperity teachings.
The Spirit itself bares witness that we are the children of God. Please read Galatians 5. We will have the fruit of The Spirit when He is in us. God bless you.
Are you sorry for your past sins? If you sin again, are you immediately convicted, and feel terrible that you did? Is sin still appealing to you? Is God the Lord of your life, or are you? *If you died tonight, where would you be?* Not trying to be petulant ... serious questions that help you know. 1 John 5:12-14: “He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may _know_ that you have eternal life.” (emphasis mine)
@@wilford789 This is something I struggle with heavily in understanding. It seems to me the rhetorical argument is. If you use the Lord's name in vain, you cannot be saved.
@@Socks756 It's definitely something that can be a bad habit for someone new to faith, but just like sexual sin, there should be an effort to stop if you know what I mean. You shouldn't say God's name in an inappropriate way because it belittles His glorious name.
@@Socks756 that is because that is a very easy thing to do... imagine saying you love your wife, but because you are not perfect, sometime you use her name as a bad word. It does not make sence at all... if you love her, youll never do that. Or you sleep with another woman sometimes, because you cant control yourself.. does not make sence either. It shows that you dont truly love your wife. The issue is to embrace sin. You will sin sometimes, but you certainly won't embrace a lifetime of sin, saying "well.. im a sinner, and god forgives so.. I choose homosexuality because God made me like this. Or Im steling.. but Im just a sinner!" the problem is repeating the thing over and over again, without any shame, guilt, or concern about what God said to us: "flee satan". Jesus ask us to stay away from sin, to hate it. Wen you will sin, and know you have sin, recognize your sin to him, repent, he is just and will forgive you if you come with a sicnere heart: remember king david? He loved the Lord.. yet he seriosuly sinned. WHat did he do? He felt depressed, and ask the mercy of the Lord. He never repeated that again, and the lord truly forgave him. But if David did that over and over again (sleeping with another's man wife, and killing the husband), it would have been completely different of course.
In a sinfilled world, no longer enjoy the temporary pleasures, some hurts others. But a whole new outlook that if it occurs, becoming regretful, humbly sorrowful and repentant, flee from sin. Receiving holy Spirit , the traits listed in galatians ch.3 , love patience, joy, humility, long-suffering, peace , the gift of everlasting life.
1 John 2 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¹⁵ Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. ¹⁶ For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. ¹⁷ And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Using the name of the Lord flippantly is definitely wrong, but that's not actually what taking God's name in vain means if you research/study it. It has more to do with calling yourself a follower/child of God and all that it entails.
Jesus Christ is coming back soon!!! ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED 1 John 5:13 KJV ❤✝️🙏🏼 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (Jesus Christ). Everyone is a sinner since the beginning. Although avoiding sin will improve our spiritual walk with God and here on Earth, there are No repenting of sins, no false teachings like work for your own salvation, no false signs needed to know Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all and offers the gift of eternal life to anyone who believes on him. Know you are going to Heaven today by simply believing and trusting Jesus Christ, its as simple as drinking water. ❤ He is the propitiation for the sins of the world and no other, the Gospel = Good News ❤
Oc we Christians are hypocrites we try to live like Jesus but fail devine expectations because of temptations of sins. That's why Jesus came & got crucified to save us from ourselves. No human other then Jesus on earth was sinless then paid the penalty of sin on the cross. Because he is God in the flesh committing a loophole in his devine will as an extra plan. To save us from ourselves God knew it would happen but gave us freewill to let sins happen. God could intervene but that would terminate our freewill of choice.
So not even one of you catch what this man is doing ? He is judging people as a whole as bad people, we are not to do that just the action of ones self. Not all people are bad> Sins do not make a bad person, it makes us Human. And yes we must Forsake our sins and better ourselves but keep in mind who are the people in Heaven ? Sinners.
I support stopping your sin but saying you must repent of sin to get saved can't be right. The Lord Jesus died on the cross to forgive the sins of all who believe, if you have to do this stuff to prove you are saved it's like saying Jesus didn't do enough to save you. There are many verses that also make it clear that works is of no relation to salvation and that it isn't something that can come and go, Romans 4:5 "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for rightousness" John 10:28 "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand" Romans 8:38-39 "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" The Bible has no contradictions so there must be a reconciliation to keep all verses true, the revelations Jesus revealed to Paul show that now is the time of the Grace of Jesus to save you
What are your thoughts on this? “But someone may say, “You [claim to] have faith and I have [good] works; show me your [alleged] faith without the works [if you can], and I will show you my faith by my works [that is, by what I do].” You believe that God is one; you do well [to believe that]. The demons also believe [that], and shudder and bristle [in awe-filled terror-they have seen His wrath]! But are you willing to recognize, you foolish [spiritually shallow] person, that faith without [good] works is useless?” - James 2:18-20 AMP “For just as the [human] body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works [of obedience] is also dead.” James 2:26 AMP Yes, our works do not save us, but from our faith should come fruit, or it is dead and useless. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
Christians need to examine what "Taking the Name of 'God' in vain actually means... For starters, "God" Is NOT the holy Name of the Almighty Creator of all. It's YAHWEH. The Commandment reads: לא (DO NOT) תשׂא (BRING/TAKE) את־שׁם (THE NAME) יהוה (YAHWEH) אלהיך (YOUR GOD) לשׁוא (TO NOTHINGNESS/VANITY) ALL CHristianity (Even you Ray) have brought the holy Name of YAHWEH to NOTHINGNESS by not using it! "How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? But they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart, who plot to cause My people to FORGET MY NAME by their dreams which they tell, each one to his neighbor, as their fathers have FORGOTTEN MY NAME FOR BAAL* [LORD]." (Jer 23:26) *Ba'al - Hebrew for Lord, Master. The Scriptures are replete with Commands to "call upon His Name," "sing to His Name," "praise His Name (Hallelu-Yah)" and "All who call upon the Name of YAHWEH shall be saved." (Joel 2:32, Acts 2:21, Rom 10:13)
The argument has become popular that “God” is not the Creator’s Name.
@@LivingWaters - Sir, I agree with everything you have written, however, that was not the point of my comment. The point is that His Name is YAHWEH and that we have "forgotten His Name" and replaced it with the title of "LORD" which is exactly what the prophecy states. Here's another reminder: "O YAHWEH, my strength and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the gentiles shall come to You from the ends of the earth, and shall say, 'Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and there is no profit in them.' Shall a man make gods to himself, and they are no gods? Therefore, behold, I will make them know; this time I will cause them to know My hand and My might; and they shall know that My Name is YAHWEH." (Jer 16:19-21)
@@raycomfortjustwitnessing - I'm rather unsure why you referred to this link, because the title is actually a misnomer in itself. While the Almighty Creator has numerous titles, there is only ONE Name that is referenced almost 7000 times and is exclusively used in phrases such as "this is My Name, "My Name is Yahweh," "His name Yahweh," etc. No other title is used in this context, and the written prophecies quoted in my opening comment are irrefutable in regard to what has actually taken place and is being fulfilled in our time where His Name is being recognized and acknowledged by tens of thousands worldwide!

Ray is wrong about hell. The Bible teaches that the meek will inherit the earth, and there will be a resurrection of the righteous and unrighteous. If bad people went to hell for eternity, those scriptures would not make any sense, and God cannot lie. Hell is the grave, but Ray teaches it's where you'll go forever if you do wrong.
The Bible speaks of eternal punishment, lake of fire. That does not describe a grave. Also read Luke 16 -19 through 31. Jesus tells a parable of a rich man and a beggar named Lazarus. The rich was in torment begging for a drop of water to cool his tongue and to send someone to warn his father’s house that wouldn’t end up there in torment.

“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”
- Ephesians 5:11 (KJV)
But hopefully something in here is, perhaps, somewhat helpful.... maybe? ;)

True, but you smell better afterwards.
Seems like a bunch of confused people on here that don’t understand the process,
Jesus told his earthly cousin who was the forerunner for him ( John the Baptist) baptize me so the prophecy can go forth …. Baptism is apart of your salvation although if the holy ghost fall on you before water 💦 baptism,
Peter encouraged the men at cornillus house,
can any man forbid water 💦? And told them to get baptized.

God bless.
Remember, it is a work of fiction. Many Christians are unfortunately unable to separate fiction from reality.

@Quint-ib4nf Hmm ... I remember the Bible itself saying that folks would be saying exactly what you just did. 😉 Seriously, we don't know the day or the hour, that's true. But God didn't leave us in the dark regarding the timing of His return either. "When you see all these things begin to happen, lift up your eyes; your redemption draweth near!" Not just AC DC… idk if the context of this verse applies here though
God bless you Brother Ray Comfort
I hope this changes your mind:
Some maintain that repentance is simply a change of mind about Jesus.
Scripture makes it clear that repentance is turning from sins (plural):
Ezekiel 18:21-23: “But if the wicked will TURN FROM ALL HIS SINS that he hath committed…”
Acts 3:19: “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, THAT YOUR SINS MAY BE BLOTTED OUT…” (Note: this is “sins,” not the “sin” of unbelief).
Luke 24:47:
“And that repentance and remission of sins (sins, plural) should be preached in his name among all nations…”
Revelation 2:21-22 (emphasis added):
“And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.”
“Deeds”-Plural
If repentance is just a change of mind about Jesus, why does the Bible speak of godly sorrow producing repentance:
“For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation…” (2 Corinthians 7:10).
Godly sorrow clearly means to be sorry for sin.
When David was confronted by Nathan for his adultery and murder, he didn’t just have a mind-change. His repentance came from godly sorrow. He spoke of being cleansed from his sin, saying it was evil in God’s sight:
“Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.
For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me.
Against You, You only, have I sinned, And done this evil in Your sight.” (Psalm 51:1-4).
The Amplified Bible translates the Greek and Hebrew languages:
From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent [change your inner self-your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life], for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Matthew 4:17 AMP
Listen to scripture as it addresses sinners telling them to be sorry for their sins:
“Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom” (James 4:8-9).
“And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.” Revelation 9:21
Notice again, murders, sexual immorality and thefts. Not simply unbelief.
Proponents of the “just believe” doctrine say that we are saying to stop sinning-like Jesus said to the woman caught in the act of adultery:
“Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” (John 8:11).

Awesome!!!

Yeah let's get together and spread the good news that we have a chance at eternal life with GOD. No sin, no pain, no sadness, etc.

The Name of Jesus is used in that very context with the common exclamation “bejesus”:
Etymology: alteration of by Jesus
-- (interjection) used as a mild oath;
-- (noun) runny poop
You scured [scared] the bejesus out of me.
www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=scured
Such a context shows the utter contempt that human beings have for their Creator. They hate Him because He demands moral restraint and accountability.
Definition of blasphemy:
“the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for God.” www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/blasphemy
Jesus warned that every idle word men speak, they will have give an account of on the Day of Judgment (see Matthew 12:36).
I believe that you answered your own question. It is very unfortunate that people will fall for those scams too.
What's the deal!! 👌😎👌

How do you know if youre born again? Seems like a misty term thats been thrown around all over the place nowadays. Legit question here.
*If you died tonight, where would you be?*
Not trying to be petulant ... serious questions that help you know.
1 John 5:12-14: “He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may _know_ that you have eternal life.” (emphasis mine)
So if you are truly born again you can and will never sin again? 🤔
Nope. Everyone struggles with sin until the day they die.
Or Im steling.. but Im just a sinner!"
the problem is repeating the thing over and over again, without any shame, guilt, or concern about what God said to us: "flee satan".
Receiving holy Spirit , the traits listed in galatians ch.3 , love patience, joy, humility, long-suffering, peace , the gift of everlasting life.
its not possible to be a true child of God and be of this world listening to secular music.
That's legalistic. Everything calls for discernment ♥️ just because something isn't right for one person's walk, doesn't mean it's true for everyone.
I disagree, one can be saved and out of fellowship, no rewards in heaven.

Using the name of the Lord flippantly is definitely wrong, but that's not actually what taking God's name in vain means if you research/study it. It has more to do with calling yourself a follower/child of God and all that it entails.

To save us from ourselves
God knew it would happen but gave us freewill to let sins happen.
There are many verses that also make it clear that works is of no relation to salvation and that it isn't something that can come and go,
Romans 4:5 "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for rightousness"
John 10:28 "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand"
Romans 8:38-39 "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord"
The Bible has no contradictions so there must be a reconciliation to keep all verses true, the revelations Jesus revealed to Paul show that now is the time of the Grace of Jesus to save you
You do not need to show the fruits of your faith to be a saved Christian.
But are you willing to recognize, you foolish [spiritually shallow] person, that faith without [good] works is useless?” - James 2:18-20 AMP
“For just as the [human] body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works [of obedience] is also dead.” James 2:26 AMP
Yes, our works do not save us, but from our faith should come fruit, or it is dead and useless.
Hope this helps. Best wishes.
Christians need to examine what "Taking the Name of 'God' in vain actually means...
For starters, "God" Is NOT the holy Name of the Almighty Creator of all.
It's YAHWEH.
The Commandment reads:
לא (DO NOT) תשׂא (BRING/TAKE) את־שׁם (THE NAME) יהוה (YAHWEH) אלהיך (YOUR GOD) לשׁוא (TO NOTHINGNESS/VANITY)
ALL CHristianity (Even you Ray) have brought the holy Name of YAHWEH to NOTHINGNESS by not using it!
"How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? But they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart, who plot to cause My people to FORGET MY NAME by their dreams which they tell, each one to his neighbor, as their fathers have FORGOTTEN MY NAME FOR BAAL* [LORD]." (Jer 23:26)
*Ba'al - Hebrew for Lord, Master.
The Scriptures are replete with Commands to "call upon His Name," "sing to His Name," "praise His Name (Hallelu-Yah)" and "All who call upon the Name of YAHWEH shall be saved." (Joel 2:32, Acts 2:21, Rom 10:13)

@@LivingWaters - Sir, I agree with everything you have written, however, that was not the point of my comment.
The point is that His Name is YAHWEH and that we have "forgotten His Name" and replaced it with the title of "LORD" which is exactly what the prophecy states.
Here's another reminder:
"O YAHWEH, my strength and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the gentiles shall come to You from the ends of the earth, and shall say, 'Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and there is no profit in them.' Shall a man make gods to himself, and they are no gods? Therefore, behold, I will make them know; this time I will cause them to know My hand and My might; and they shall know that My Name is YAHWEH." (Jer 16:19-21)
