This song has two autors of music - russian composer Sergey Rashmaninov and Eric Carmen. The refrain of this song ( о my by self ) was taken from Rachmaninov's Second Piano Concert, written in 1901y.
This was his first major concert on his return from The Singer competition in China. Called Bastau which means beginning. I actually think you might enjoy his duet with the legendary maestro Placido Domingo singing The Pearl Fishers Duet performed last year when they were both judges for a European Classical musicians competition called The Virtuosos.
Dimash is just teasing the audience. He sings for 3 and 1/2 hours non stop in his concerts and does lots of things. He is the greatest entertainer and singer. I have been in three of his concerts and I will do it again next year. Thank you for your reaction. ❤️☮️

Another artist that takes covers and makes them into masterpieces as well is Hua Chenyu (pronounced Watchin’ you): Nunchuck, Fake Monk, Dad, I’m Home, Bullfight and Madhouse! The last two are his own compositions! You might be quite entertained by Hua Hua as he is more theatrical in his live performances! I enjoyed watching you react to my favorite singer of all time but it's always annoying to see Celine credited for this song when it is actually an Eric Carmen song that he created 22 years before Celine even got around to doing it. I realize the mistake is not yours but rather that of whoever originally titled and posted the video. Celine's version is a cover of Carmen's original, just as is Dimash's. People in the music industry are incredibly sensitive about credit where credit is due. Carmen would have every right to be offended that someone else is getting the credit for a song whose lyrics he wrote and whose recording of the song gained the highest position it ever attained on the music charts

Yes, he has always had an affinity for music and a good ear, etc, but he's worked his ass off since the age of five to learn and hone/fine-tune his abilities.
