That sounds much better now than it did, well fettled Paul, I just love Tiger Cubs, my first bike in 1968 was a 1962 Cub, never forgotten, still got the Cub bug now, cheers Dave
Every video you’ve made on this bike has impressed me with the qualities of that little bike. Less is more. The kind of bike I’d love to have just to enjoy the local lanes on but more than capable of longer jaunts. Cracking scenery with wistful mists in the far distance. What a gem . The owners going to very pleased.
G'day Paul, sorry too hear you have been crook nothing worse, change of season perhaps, sometimes you just have too sit back with a cuppa or a beer, and nut the problem out, or put it in the back of the shed for another day, knowing you it will be fixed in no time, cheers mate ride safe, Neil 🤠.
Got a 6 v pre focus headlight led bulb replacement in my trophy. Nice and bright to be seen by in daylight but pretty abysmal when I was coming back the other evening in the dark. No beam to speak of, that might be the reflectors fault, not matched to a led “ filament “.
Sounded quite happy to me! Does the Tiger Cub have a secondary chain oiler? I can remember my 3TA having one that I think was near the back of the primary chain case. I was just wondering whether something like that might account for the traces of oil you mentioned. That's a nice little bike and you've done another good job.
Thanks - and no, there isn't supposed to be any automatic chain oiling, but the reason for it appearing to be that way is discussed in a more recent video ... ruclips.net/video/eGDoEBerNSk/видео.html
Hi Paul, I have been watching your videos with interest as I have recently purchased a 1961 T 20 cub. But I have a problem - I cannot stop an oil leak from the top of the pushrod tube. I have tried many things different "o" rings, measuring the squash, etc. the main problem seems to me to be the fact that the location for the top seal in the cylinder head is not complete, there is a small gap in the outer edge of the location and this is where it seams to leak from. With all your Tiger Cub experience I wonder if you have a solution for this problem. thanking you in advance. Peter.

hi Paul hope all the bugs av gone for good yours an the bikes its a nice little thing cheers thank you for the ride out stay safe
Don't know if you can fit LED bulbs but they reduce the wattage demand to at least a quarter of the original.

Perhaps the output lead from the rectifer is connected to the incorrect post at ammeter?
