Back in 81' I was 13 Discipline warped my mind and changed me as a musician and listener for the rest of my life. I Have FRAME BY FRAME loaded I'm making a thumbnail right now... Stay Tuned!!! Thanks for viewing 🤘🤩🤘FRITO
Coupla fuck-ups last night in Houston, on "Frame By Frame" (during Belew/Vai's fast pattern-overlapping parts) and Carrey coming in slightly late after the slow, dark passage in the encore, on "Red". One of the finest shows I've ever seen and heard.
If the crowd is sold to capacity it rotates, if not sold to capacity it is stationary... Thanks for the kind words, I've had tons of practice with that confounded stage... LOL!!! Thanks for viewing!!! 🤘🤩🤘FRITO
The musicianship here is so strong between Steve and Danny. Steve watching for the queue to create total chaos. And Tony, with that Stick, it’s every man for himself
Damn, I wish I was there to see it. Crazy they do all the songs off those three albums except for Discipline (I guess really a Fripp number) and The Howler...( I think I read once they weren't that fond of that tune, though its early instrumental version was great I reckon.) and the improvisation pieces... thorough!!
I hope that Steve Vai can make it through the entire tour. He had surgery not too long ago, and it appears that his right hand/forearm is giving him problems. If you notice, at the beginning of the video he is shaking his hand and then he holds his right forearm with his left hand. Not a good sign . . .
It's called a "Chapman Stick" and Tony Levin is the Supreme Jedi Master Stick Player... Check out the album "Discipline" by King Crimson... Your world will forever be changed.... Thanks for viewing!!! 🤘🤩🤘FRITO
@@perseusrex614 My pleasure!!! Brought Discipline home when I was fourteen, slapped the needle down on Elephant Talk and my little punk rock drummer brain was forever changed and re arranged by those opening Chapman Stick Bass Lines.... Never heard anything like it before and I loved me some John Entwistle, Chris Squire, John Paul Jones and Greg Lake. My mind was blown and have been a fan for over 40 years of Mr. Levin...
@@FritoBanditoMusicVideos awesome! thanks for the names, I'll check them out. Check out Lee Doorman, the work he did with Captain Beyond. If you havent heard them, you'll run back and thank me!!
@@FritoBanditoMusicVideos 50+% of the time I couldn't see the band playing at all. I wanted to watch them play as well as listen to them. That's why I came to a live show. At one point they mentioned being dizzy, possible it was just a subtle dig. Adrian also mentioned that the stage was moving at a rate of one rotation per Neurotica.
I thought the stage was kinda cool and trippy actually I was all the way in the back and still got a good view, Adrian seemed happy and everyone was cool. It was old school and an incredible show. I do hope they play at concert halls where people can dance, the post-covid seated shows are kind of a drag
The rotation meant we did not see half the performance. But on the other hand it was an interesting way to experience the band. The sound sucked for the first half of the first set but then really got sorted. Amazing version of this song!
This makes my soul joyful

Great video! I love the slow tracking in a circle.
This and Frame by Frame are my favorite songs from Discipline. This version is balls to the wall! SO good.

that would be wild to play on a stage that rotates. When I saw ZPZ there, it did not rotate :(

The rotating stage is as annoying on the video as it was in the theater. The music was incredible!

Some people had posted that they really liked the “cool” rotating stage. I would also find it obnoxious.
