@@stylus6645 Thanks for replying. So you didn't notice any change in top speed or feel slightly more torque in low revs? Odd. A few questions if you don't mind. 1.) How much weight did you save? What's the difference in weight between the OEM pipe and this one? 2.)Did you need to tune the engine or flash the ECU? 3.)Is this exhaust Road legal? 4.) How do you compare the sound of this exhaust compared to the OEM exhaust? Does it become too loud at high revs? 5.) Does the OEM Catalyst still remain on the bike? Ahhhh 😢 sorry to hear, that was such a nice bike. Did you get something else??
@@bg4406 yes it was! I bought a Kawasaki Versys 1000 SE 2022.
What did you use to paint the tires and did it fade as time pased? Also rim stickers look so hot, though it was M Power at first but they look really stick out well.
Hi! I used the Dunlop tyre marker. I applied a new layer this year just to make them look crispier and the paint looks the same after almost 8000km. Cheers!
Hello! ... Great sound is coming from that IXIL! ... 0:13 It seems that you have changed the original windshield - what is the name/type of this new windshield? - it looks cool!👍
Hello, thank you for your comment. The windshield is Givi D1192S.
does it works good with wind buffering?
@@thodoris3790 Yes it does, everything is ok if you keep it under 150km/h.
Hi, where did you buy the windshield and white Honda rim sticker?
I like really that look!
Hello,
You can get the rim stickers from spinningstickers.com, they are the best in business when it comes to stickers, they are top notch quality and the delivery time and support are over the top. I've bought the windshield from an italian online moto store, here is the link to the store: www.ricambibaulettomoto.it/ .
All the best!
Where did you get the letters for the tyres? Or did you paint them?
They are painted with the dunlop tire marker pen.

Hy, very nice your bike!! How are you with windshield givi 1192s? you tried it on the highway 130/140 kmh? Thanks! bye from italy!!
Hey! I've tried it and it feels ok, it does it's job perfectly. It's more efficient than the original windscreen. Cheers!
Hi. Do you have a link for the rear hugger, and the fork protectors :)
Hi! This is the link to the fork protectors: puig.tv/en/tuning-motos/accessories/fork-protector?bike=8378. The rear hugger is made from fiberglass and I've bought it from my local moto shop. Unfortunayely I can't provide a link with it.
Did you change something on rear suspension... I want to raise mine...
I didn't change anything, I only used the spin spanner to adjust the spring preload.

Do you know how many decibels the volume is when the decibel killer is installed?
Hello! Unfortunately no, I don't have this info.

does this windscreen work ?
Yes, it does and I recommend it if you are not a very tall person! All the best!
Not a fan of loud pipes unless they're on a big block v8 but, the bike looks great. I'm a fan of that.
Thanks!
Great looking bike and cool exhaust sound. Does it affect the performance of the bike?
Thanks! I did not notice any performance decrease or increase after installing the final exhaust on the bike.
Sorry about all the questions but just want to be sure before I order it.
But if you say that it's a simple Plug & Play install and everything works just as before, is awesome news. No tune up, No hassles. It's precisely what I was looking for.
@@yippyyaiyei I did not test the top speed on this bike, I'm not interested in this. Torque I don't know, I did not feel any change, or maybe I'm getting older and I don't care about this subject. :P
1 - The ixil exhaust weighs around 800 grams without the connecting pipe and the original exhaust weighs around 3,2 kg's if I remember correctly. Unfortunately I can't remember the weight of the connecting pipe.
2 - I did not tune the engine and I don't think this is possible?! (if you know different, please let me know, I'm interested in this too)
3 - The exhaust is road legal only if it is used with the dbkiller (maybe in other countries you can use the exhaust without the dbkiller installed)
4 - I really enjoy the sound of the ixil exhaust with the dbkiller installed, things are different when used without the dbkiller, the sound is to load and on longer journeys it's a pain to hear it.
5 - Yes!
No problem, If you need more info please reply.
The installation is pretty simple, even a 5 year old could make it.
Have a great day!
@luckyluis I changed my exhaust to shark exhaust and also did not notice any performance increase. But if youre looking for performance this is the wrong bike for you, its not slow and definitely surprises you at times but you wont race any R6s. This bike is only for you if you feel like its for you, it is meant to be loved and cared, not raced and used. My top speed with 48hp restriction on honda 700x is 180 on the dash and 0-100 around 6 seconds.

The db killer is inside the exhaust. This it the sound with the db killer mounted in.
There are 2 db Killers. One of them is welded and the other one as in this video is not mounted
