I've done 3 or 4 of RSLaser kits in both HO and N scale. Paint everything first. The trim on corners can be irritating because it is some pretty small parts. All of the ones I did also had extra trim parts with no where to go, so I found it helps to hold it up to where you think it's going to go before peeling the backing paper off. If you want to light it, spray the inside of the walls before cutting them out. I use white or an ivory.
