No mid controls would have me leaning towards NO :) But when has anyone ever taken a manufacturers claim seriously? Sounds pretty good having said that, decent range of tones with the shaping it does have.
I've never played one, but the other Jon Browne has featured their pedals. The one I am really interested in is their Endgain pedal. That would be cool to check out someday.
