Nichol!!! You are so super talented!!! This card is the absolute cutest!! I've gotta get this set!! You do such an AMAZING job at building scenes for cards!!! You always know the perfect things to do to bring everything together. Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all that you do. Thank you so much!!
Was hoping when LF showed this card that you'd do a video showing how you did the sky, thank you! And, nice that their village doesn't have any grumps who turn off the lights & hide instead of giving out candy (grin).
Such a great card. Could you tell me how you did the labels ontop of the blending tools please. Or even do a video on them. Id like to do this with mine:) i have a hard time on storage with all my pads as some wont fit under the pads
Here’s the download from Ranger that I used: www.rangerink.com/pdf/organize/Distress%20Color%20Palette_.75%20Circle%20Punch_CHA2016.pdf I *think* I had to adjust the size a bit to fit the ink blending tools but it’s been awhile since I did it so you might have to play around a bit to get the sizing exact. I store my ink blending tools in these: amzn.to/2xvxH53 I've got a video filmed, I just need to find time to edit and get it uploaded! ;)
Nichol, this is an awesome card. Quick question for you, do you think that this village border die could be used equally as well in a Christmas card, using the same night sky and the hill borders? (obviously using a different sentiment, etc).. I am starting to think Christmas already and that looks like it could be a pretty christmas village, but having a hard time seeing it as I am so new to cardmaking. Advice please???
Absolutely! I think adding some white detail to the tops of the houses to look like snow would be cute too. I'm planning on using this die again for a Christmas card for next month's inspiration week. :)
Super cute card. I love the night sky.
