you absolutely KILLED this! the singing is INSANE.
This is the best cover by far. The guitar tapping was such an awesome addition as was doing the trap beat with the drummer & bassist. Ironically the biggest flaw is that the singer could hit the notes TOO well, so it didn’t have the raw, strained vocal feel of the original song, which I personally love, more so like pre-planned metal screams.. Not really a bad thing though, your singer’s got a VOICE! 👍
really appreciate this feedback. As the singer reading this, I think I should mention the ONLY reason I could even possibly hit these notes was because we tuned down a whole step to be able to sing it. I'm still blown a way at how good Donald sang on this song, and still for the life of me can not figure out how he hit that high note in it. I spent months trying, and reluctantly we tuned down. Thanks again though for the feedback.
@@PartsPerMillionBand Wow no problem man! To be fair though, I’m sure he didn’t hit all those notes in one take. He never does it live & I’m sure it took several takes in the studio, so with that being taken into account I feel like you sang it better than anyone else I’ve heard live, including Gambino himself 🤷♂️

This is a very cool interpretation of the original song. I think the key change works very well and makes it very reminiscent of Black Sabbath whenever the distorted guitar comes in for the main riff. The choir did an amazing job as well. And the bass solo is just the cherry on top. I honestly might just prefer this arrangement over the original song.
