I have now seen why Dr. Nkrumah married from Egypt to liberate the whole continent of Africa under one umbrella🤝

Yes. There was political tactical element to that marriage in my opinion.

Too much happiness for the people. Ghana's enemies, including it's traitors, couldn't stand that.
Ghana was becoming so economically strong that the development built under CPP direction would have been irreversible if no coup happened.
A very high degree of modernisation and industrialisation development occurred in Ghana under a socialist directed government. Ghana had the best educational system, more literate citizens and the highest income per capita on the African continent.
The Seven Year Development Plan would have cinched in that permanency of true national development. The next step was liberation and political unification of the continent, and placement of an All-African Union Government for the continent opening up unlimited economic development not only for Africans at home but those Africans in the diaspora as well. It's still on the agenda.
When Africa is free and independent, all Africans are free and independent.
But it's good to see the things in this video I've read President Nkrumah mention in his books. That is what good historical documentation is for.
    EXCELLENT!
I would add a unified foreign policy, military defense, and an integrated economy for Africa's full industrial and agricultural development to raise the standard of living for the people. All this can be done under a unified, federated authority.

      That generation was ORGANIZED.
We can return to that an even stronger Ghana and African continent if we wanted to.
The principles of President Nkrumah's policies and programs are still intact. All we need do is put today's updates on them.
But it requires an organized revolution to become liberated and independent. Then, and only then, can we change the conditions in which our people suffer.
The question is, are we serious to be truly free?
Nkrumah was. So was the CPP.
Now it's up to the people.

Ghana seemed more organized then .

    • @NkrumahTure
      @NkrumahTure 3 года назад

I'm sure it was. The first 5 year, consolidated, and second 5 year development plans required organization, and were completed with a high degree of success. So too was the 7 year development plan effective in establishing hydro electric power that would provide the leap forward to economic independence. But only one year and a month of the seven year development plan was completed by the time of the coup. Ghana was being developed into a modern industrial and technological society in stages.
So, let me add that the first (1951-1956), and second 5 year development plans (1959-1964) with the consolidation plan (1957-1959) represented the foundations for the modernisation and industrialisation of Ghana. The seven year development plan of work and happiness was to speed up the rate of growth in the national economy which was eradicating the colonial structure of the the country. It was to be a economy balanced between agriculture and industry.
