I do. Alot of us do. But some just prefer music from our generation. I personally love most music from my generation but prefer music from past generations. New Edition and New Kids On The Block played a big part in my musical interests. Me and my classmate know the choreo to Mr Telephone Man and we do it whenever my teacher plays it.

As a fan of ALL 3 of these groups, it was EPIC to see see my childhood hearthrobs singing and dancing with their heroes and then the NEW generation of BTS dancing along! PLUS Joey Fatone from NSYNC dancing along! Bout lost MY mind like a teenager!!! 🥰😍🥰😍💜💜 MY teenagers had NO idea why I was freaking out so much! LOL 🤣

Donnie made that statement because for the longest time, a lot of people were not giving New Edition their props and the respect they deserve as well as the lane they paved for so many male groups AFTER New Edition, not before. I see a lot bringing up The Jacksons, Temptations, etc. like New Edition or News Kids don’t recognize those groups but this was about them. They had their time. New Edition is for this generation.
Currently 15, my dad made me grow up with these songs. I most definitely prefer these groups and anyone else from the 80s than any other music genre 😎

Never really listened to NKOTB to be honest but some of their songs I heard on the radio and remembered them so that was actually cool, it's been years since I've heard them. Now, New Edition; that was fire .🔥 🔥 Ralph Tresvant has still got it. He was definitely my favorite. I'm fangirling like back in the day when I rode my bike to the music store with the allowance I just got to buy Ralph Tresvant's new solo album when it came out. Still have that cassette tape too. 😎👍

@@zeamer11 I loved BBD but I've had a iffy kind of feeling from them ever since I really paid attention to the lyrics of "Do Me!". For 30 years I sang along to the song but just a couple years ago I'm listening to it one night and had to stop it and go back. I heard it again and went online to read the lyrics because I wasn't sure if what I heard was correct but unfortunately it was. Can't quite listen to that song now. It just makes uncomfortable to listen to them now. I know it was a long time ago but because of my past, I just can't. That's why with New Edition, I just pay attention to Ralph and Bobby.
