If the output device option on roblox is removed for you, all it means is that you'll have to switch mics if you want to talk or play music in the input. The options on the input on the roblox sound setting should be the cable and your mic, and for me they're right next to each other. All you have to do is switch to whichever one you want to use, the cable being music and your mic if you wanna talk. You won't be able to use both at the same time, but at least you can play music!

@@Lynx_Official2953 Im PRETTY sure thats because when your installing audio drivers like this sometimes the regular audio driver that was pre installed just doesnt work so if that happens then u might just have to either reinstall it or just restart your drivers or re do the installation but thats just what i think. It is still safe and it SHOULD work as what he is saying.

@@splatboynick5149 you are able to disable it in the control panel by going to hardware and sound and by finding the cable and turn it off
I have a problem it seems to work 100% fine after i disable my headphone and if i do that i can hear absolutly nothing on my PC
in sound settings you just need to change the thing back to headphones

I have done everything to make this work and it wont. I got VB Audio installed and opened while I do it. I have all the setting you told me to put on in the sound control panel and the sound still just plays to the headphones and I dont know why

set the audio at the bottom to the cable input. Where you usually choose where the headphone audio comes out of
I would recommend making less cuts and stop zoomin in, out and moving the screen i got lost many times

1 problem i keep running into is when i turn off my laptop and i have to re do everything in this video after turning it back on and some time it works some time it doesn't also when it doesn't work i can't hear anything but when i switch to default than can hear everything but when switch back to the cable i can't hear a thing from it

been having an issue with the audio quality. it starts out surprisingly good, others can hear the music in the same quality as i do, but after some seconds the volume starts lowering by itself and it sounds unbearably muffled and crunchy. anyone have any reasons why and/or fixes?

Maybe you downloaded the 64 bits when your computer does not work on 64 fits or the total reverse.
I'm pretty sure voice chat has automatic noise suppression, that's why. No fix

@@paytonnwg if u haven't fixed it its bcs it changes your sound in the settings just got to soundsa nd change sound output to your ehadphones or speakers.
So because it picks up the output audio of the computer it picks up ALL output audio. This means when I'm in a game it picks up the sound of other people talking and all the game sound effects and puts it back out and everyone can hear that. For example, If I'm in a vc server and someone next to me talks my computer puts that out as output and it gets annoying to everyone real fast. Doubt there's a way to fix this but if anybody has had the problem pls lmk.

@@dongledangus This is intended, it's not an issue. You're playing directly from your sound card and anything from your computer will be played through your microphone output. However, there are advanced ways of resolving it and forcing the microphone to pull input from only specific programs.

You can mute everyone if you don't want it to come in or if you don't want to talk maybe? But that's a pretty bad solution.. sorry

the way i fixed it for me (im a windows 11 user btw) is that i went to settings then to sound. go to output sound and choose speakers instead of cable to hear again

Hey. So now there's a new roblox update that makes it so you can't change the output. Output will change based on settings set on the PC sound settings. So that means you can no longer play music?

@@g.n5725 Okay, after you enable stereo then what? because I'm having the same problem and it seems like whenever I have the settings open, it sounds fine but once I close it, it sounds scratchy again.

yes! you just gotta go on the audio setting on the right of your screen, and select the output. :)

I didn't need this tutorial, I used bananameter (same people as VAC) and did something similar. But it didn't work? Is Roblox now using Krisp or something to suppress music?
This doesn't work for me because I can't hear any of the audio if I want it to play through my mic, I can only hear it if my output is set as my headphones but then nothing comes out through my microphone
yeah don't use this video. i'm sure it works if done right but there's also a high chance you just fuck up your sound. my sound is completely messed up and takes a stupid amount of time to fix. even when i fix it, it breaks randomly some time later. use the video if you want to but it really messes with your sound if you do it wrong.
