Trans ideologues actually call these males ‘trans women’, and females who identify as the opposite sex ‘trans men’, but average people like you and others, using their eyes and ears, just see their biological sex - it’s an evolutionary instinct to correctly sex others and we are 99% of the time correct, whatever confusing language is used. From surveys it’s been proven many members of the public make the same ‘mistake’ as you. Of course, it’s not really a mistake - they’re the ones who have deliberately switched words around to turn reality upside down and force our brains to see a woman in our heads when they say ‘trans woman’, to make people think these men belong in women’s sports. Your brain just wouldn’t make that irrational flip. For clarity, many of us now say trans-identifying men (or just men!) shouldn’t compete in women’s sports, so there’s zero confusion.
