Simple beat.
Dope lyrics.
Jazz and old school influence.
Hip-Hop.
Nuff said.
its because its young sinatra 4
@@bingbongwost5134 The Incredible True Story is more YS4 than the actual YS4
@Shakir M. Exactly.
Kell Whitlock I need more people like you in this world
What would you call beats, which include Jazz beats but people rap on it?
This song is so underrated
Innit
@Carlos McLaughlin It is.

I've been on a Logic binge for the last 5-6 months.. This man keeps me going.
One year later, but I absolutely relate. His new album really caught with me and I was inspired to listen to his older stuff after kind of ignoring it, but now that I have listened to it I appreciate his talent all the more.
isaiah mathewson welcome!
Best hook on the album. Lucy's voice is so hypnotic...

the pause at 1:20 to 1:23 is simply the most satisfying part of the song i don't know what it is

When I'm angry I just sit back and play this song and the beat just takes over my mind and the words mingle with whatever is there up in my brain and I just don't want to open my eyes, just keep them closed and enjoy. And then when I pay attention to the lyrics I just look up and say thank you Logic
Joel Arun i understand bro logic is a lyrical lifesaver
Damn dude that's like a quote or some shit

True, logic is such a humble genuine guy that came from nothing and now he’s saving lives
Same here. Logic does the best over these type of beats

The addition of Lucy Rose is perfect :)
This album actually became part of a healing antidote in 2015 - 2016 when I lost so much
Listening to this song makes me think about how simple being a kid was, but also, it makes me reflect on how far I've come.

what a beautiful song, this one will probably stay with me the rest of my life
"I woke up early on my born 25 its a blessin progression everyday lessons got me stressin but I'm testin"

First time I heard this was in the mountains, just driving listening to the album. I swear to god when this song came on and we were driving through the trees with a slight fog it felt like a different dimension. This album has impacted me so much that I can vividly remember where and when I listened. I can’t say the same about other albums.
Who’s here after he announced that he’s gonna retire ? Logic will always have a special place in my heart. This mans music is therapeutic
Made real fans shed a tear when he announced his retirement
Yep listening to everything he put out up until the finale 🔥
And as of today he’s out of retirement😆

Ah, such simpler times I must say. Genuinely blessed to have had heard this at a young age, blissful.
2015 was such a different year this whole album hit different especially if you were listening to it back in 2k15
Definitely my favorite of the album
That "Life's A Bitch" reference.
"Woke up early on my born, 25, it's a blessing". I think the verse was on Young Sinatra 3, and this is supossed to be the 4th , right?
+_Infected | o_O it's already on genius. you are right it is from his young sinatra series, but people who already pointed it out on genius. good job for being observant tho
minez skid
+_Infected | o_O its a NAS reference :)
Yeah, i know.
+_Infected | o_O Logic explained at his concert that this was going to be his Young Sinatra 4 but ended up changing the name. Sad to see that Young Sinatra 3 was the last one he will make
I think about specific moments I could rewind…
8 years later and this is still my favourite Logic song ever
This album and under pressure I always go back to when I'm missing lyrical music him and dizzy wright had an insane run in 2015-2017❤
His music makes me happy to live
You should be!

This album was truly ahead of its time
I don't even listen to rap but my friend sent me this because he knows I love Nujabes and Cise Starr. Best friend.
I love Nujabes too.. Never tried Cise Starr.. any particular track suggestions??
Srikant Lanka They made some tracks together like Feather, Lady Brown, and Sky is Tumbling, all of which I highly recommend. There are a lot more but these are my favorite I think.
Interesting, I already know Feather and Lady Brown. They are my favs too. Didn't know they were made feat.ing Cise Starr. :)
Don't forget Substantial, Shing02, and Pase Rock
[Verse 1: Logic]
Sometimes I fantasize about traveling space and time
I think about specific moments that I could rewind
Not to redo it, but relive it, I could give it one more go, abide
And truly understand the deeper things
That I don't know about
Now take a trip with me and vibe
I'm on this interstellar mission, is you down to ride?
Hold up, I know this innermission feeling like the tribe
Life is beautiful I'm so lucky to be alive
I'm gonna take this moment right now
Here and school them people
I know deep in my heart everyone is created equal
I truly wish that I could see the sequel of our people
Truly wish that I could, check it
Now, when I hit the road and tour the world
I see like different light, this music shit just ain't the world
Brothers and sisters from different mothers and misters
All different colors and creed all come together for me
Boy, I'm blessed to be free
[Chorus: Lucy Rose]
This is our time
Still I'm looking back, let me rewind
This is our ride
Don't let me lose my faith, let me rewind
[Verse 2: Logic]
Doing 70 on this highway
On the front of this bus, I'm busting my mind open
Hoping these lyrics will keep me coping
On the grind like copin', no time to bring the dope in
But this Nyquil got me feeling lit
It's been like 3 months since I've been home
Sometimes it feel like forever just how long I been gone
Yeah, you know that's the shit that I been on
You know I love it, feel like there's never enough of it
Let me bring 'em back
Chilling, watching Tarantino, we know I've been on it forever
My endeavor like a feature film
Step into the realm of the realest, do you feel this?
I'm in it, my limit the chillest
Let me bring 'em back, yo
Yeah, I woke up early on my born, 25, it's a blessing
Progression everyday, lesson's got me stressing
But I'm testing, reminiscing
When I would listen to my intuition
And now I made it, resurrecting
Young Sinatra I created, I'm elated
It seem like everyone's somehow related
Letters back and forth from my homie
That's locked up in prison
Doing 14, it's been 5, I know my heart's with him
I've been so busy, it feel like forever since I hit him, man
I think about how I wasn't shit when he went in
What if the tables was turned
And I was the one that been in, damn
He said he's seen me in the magazine
He said he's seen me on Fallon and Kimmel
That's been my dog from the kennel
I never thought that out the millions watching, he was one
It makes me reminisce about the times when we begun
Skipping class with all of my homies
On a constant search for who I was
I rarely went to school, they wonder why and that's because
My situation at home was alcoholics and drugs
I never graduated but I made it to the summit
Don't get me wrong, so many times
I thought that I would plummet
Felt like I didn't have the heart and couldn't seem
To stomach all of the beef around my way
I mean, I never wanted to live a life
Where all you're truly living is a lie
I knew I always wanted more
And so they wonder why, I said they wonder why
[Chorus: Lucy Rose]
This is our time
Still I'm looking back, let me rewind
This is our ride
Don't let me lose my faith, let me rewind
[Skit]
So what do you think about space?
Um, space is called the galaxy...
Do you know planets?
What are-can you name some planets off?
Yeah, there's a one named Saturn and Earth
Mars-and the planet Paradise
You've never been there before?
Um, no. I was little a long time ago with my mom riding in the coolest ship. My TV showed us where we are in space-
But there was droid ships everywhere...
Well, thank you for your time, sir
I appreciate the interview...
