    As a non American I will never understand where the concept of Jury comes from. Giving ordinary people the enormous power to decide the fate of someone else's life is beyond me. I would never want a plumber, an engineer, a baker or a housewife to deliberate on my actions and possibly wrongly wreck my life for good. Thats the judge's job, the word judging doesnt come from the word judge for nothing. So a panel of judges should be in charge of the verdict, as it happens in quite a few countries, not some random "defendant's peers". Although carefully selected, they cant qualify for such a tremendously hard task. Just my two pence here

      @dianad3080 3 года назад +23

      Keep telling yourself that. It wasn't just the knee to the neck, it was the overall weight on him preventing him from being able to take adequate breath. I tell you what, go face down on the concrete and have someone hold down your legs put weight on mid back, put knee on upper shoulder/arms into ribcage at times and knee/shin going across your neck and see whether you can take a deep breath which is needed in order for oxygen to convert to carbon dioxide. I had a hard time breathing without knee on my neck just from not having the space for my diaphragm to expand. The back of the neck is very strong and it would take quite a bit of force to break a bone as explained by Pulmonologist, however doesn't take much to restrict someone from being able to breathe properly while face down.

    facebook and amerikkkan racists have really made this seem less obvious than it is.
    imma do you one better, if you listen to the command during the hold, all 4 of them murdered him. 2 of them said we should flip him, he's passing out, -- were told "No." and "Leave him be."
    Chauvin can see ffloyd losing consciousness (SLOWLY). OD's are sudden. His levels were squat. His heart is great.
    They didn't adminster CPR once his pulse was gone (and they knew). They didn't flip him.
    How is this not Murder by , all 4 cops??

    What evidence does this guy have? The doctors have already testified that it takes time, while still alive, to any evidence of trauma to the heart. The prosecution just keeps dancing around with the same questions different people contradicting eachother.

      Anticipation...breeds frustration
      It's damned near impossible to convict a police officer doing their duty
      It's like your workplace photocopier
      If you print 700 pages a day...with no business purpose...you can get fired
      But not charged with theft
      The employer gave you permission to use the photocopier
      Like it or not....the police are allowed to kill people

    Drugs are irrelevant,it's floyd and halls constitutional right to have or do drugs under the 4th,9th,10th,14th amendments of the constitution of the united states of america.
    The claim and exercise of a constitutional right cannot be converted into a crime.

      @William Shakespeare The Turd have you not read about any of Chauvin’s previous complaints? How can you watch the whole video and be ok with him staying on someone in distress? Cops are not the judge, jury and executioners! They do not get to play God and decide who they deem as worthy of living. It’s sick that so many of you are defending Chauvin. You want cops to be treated fairly, but there are many cops who condemn what Chauvin did. Your political talking point became more important than a man’s life. A man that you believe deserved to die because he was on opioids and didn’t want to sit in the back of the police car...
