A washed up old SoCal/ AZ surfer here enjoyed the vid😂 grew up in SD, surfed from Costa Rica to Oregon and still have part of my quiver here in the desert. Have not been in the water in 20 years but might need to got see it before all the kooks show up😂 Enjoy💪

I've never tried a pool but am guessing I would prefer this style pool in my backyard rather than the Surf Ranch; this style looks way more playful. I wonder what the numbers of the two technologies are in terms of efficiency/cost (i.e., how many waves per hour).
I’m scared for the future of surfing. I don’t have to pay anything to go surf everyday. It’s just my life and what I grew up around. It’s getting crowded with mostly local heads getting in the water. I feel like all these wave pools in non surf states are going to bring people from land locked states to cause even more crowds. I’ve always heard people say, “it’s fine there is enough waves for everyone” but recently I’ve been thinking idk how much more crowded it could get before your lucky to even catch one wave in a session. I hate trying gatekeep and shit but I’m not trying to pay for waves.
