He is not struggling, to remain, relevant. Haha. No. Maynard is something out there beyond my comprehension. That's why I'm so interested in studying or meeting him. I heard he is really short. Lol
Please stop making us feel old, man, not cool. I remember when Prison Sex and Sober were on my little burned CD playlist and played incessantly like it was yesterday. You know, when we had to walk uphill 10 miles both ways in the snow to school and back and all that before those fancy horses and carriages came along.
Bro I started crying at 11:15 … I showed my best friend tool last year and he loves we jammed out every night listening to them we were supposed to go see them live together but I ended up moving to the other side of the world before we got a chance I hope he really enjoys! Love you brother
Man it really started to fall apart right at 11:22. Danny struggling to keep on time. The climax lost a lot of its impact because the timing was off. First time I’ve ever seen them drop the ball that badly live. Danny seemed to lose it a few times throughout this song
@@forgettablelisa not at all wrong. I’m very familiar with their music structure and this song specifically. It absolutely did fall apart for a few seconds there
Cold chills and tears. Woohoo is this intense. This is by far the best live performance of any song in history period. Some might disagree. What you can not disagree on is the ride this takes you on. I wasn't there, but I was and Tool fans will understand. I can only imagine how they must feel performing this. This is a true masterpiece. I have enjoyed experiencing this with you all. I send peace and love out to each and every one of you.
Agreed! I have seem them 6 times since 2014 and I've never heard them play 1 song from Undertow. Maybe it's because Adam became the bassist between albums (I've heard them play at least one from Lateralus every show)? Could also be that us tool-heads consider so many of their songs "hits" that it'd take a couple days of playing to hear all the ones we want... but... not one song from that entire album? Seems like there's probably a reason I just haven't bothered googling.
Really from 10:00 forward its off and Danny is behind by a beat. At 11:22 it totally falls apart and ruins the climax of the song. Happens again near the end. I have heard them play this song perfectly live though other times.
Maynard's voice is angelic, 59 years of age and his voice is sounding better than ever....chills everytime when the "SOUND THE DREAD ALARM" part hits.

@@shoe7ess2..uphill, both ways, in the snow, barefoot - you forgot barefoot🤓
@@shoe7ess2I remember those days... 😂
Maynard fanboys are weird
This is probably their most underrated song. It has some of Adam's best solo guitar work.
Maynard is on another level

Christ, their lighting designer is on fucking point with helping paint the visuals and playing with the band.
Wow can Adam make that guitar wail holy crap.
tony my man you always get the best audio
One of the best TOOL songs period I don’t care I’ll take on all of you
No one is debating you. The song is epic.
Settle down; I train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu like Maynard. I'd sleep you.
Hmm that's every TOOL song for me...
It's one of the best for sure
Angelic for sure and I was there for this one
Tony, I love you man!
Seeing them in 2 days. I cannot fucking wait.
Pook you rule
Why would people talk while they are playing? its baffling to me, like stfu its not about you right now

I mean, even Jordan missed some shots, right
@@nicholi2789 apparently not
they already started too late at 10:00 and they cannot make the pieces fit anymore.
I don't see maynard anywhere.
Pretty sure in back. Between Adam and Danny. Up on a platform
Does it matter?
Is this a real question?
@@epicgenx5091 I don’t believe it was a question at all
Only good song on the new album
😂😂😂
You are trippin!
Notta 😮
No way man, the whole thing is fantastic
Have you heard Pneuma? 7empest? CULLING VOICES??
Damn, what a terrible comment.

this band has been huge in my whole life. Top spot. I like Maynard vocals. And I love the odd signatures the band can play in. Talent right there.
pure talent*🌟
why do I keep coming back to watch this stuff. Fantastic work all around.
Best live version of this song. Thanks for posting this ..
Phenomenal show, I just wish they'd play a few more older tunes as this is the 3rd leg of the Fear tour.

Amazing
Fuuuuuck they had a tear at the climax
Thx for recording this 🎉!
Amazing, simply Amazing! 😎
Best album ever
Danny and Alex can't get along near the end.. they need to practice this more lol
