Imagine if they darkened the display area, for a better effect on the display and it would really bring out the animatronics the most. Perhaps some glow in the dark effects?? PS: If Hell Spawn is a Mr. Dark reskin, why is he listed at nearly 5 feet?
@sherlybrizuela2072 it doesn't, but like 90% else of the rest of the animatronics do. The back theme has alot of good animatronics that fit great with everything else. I will say that I do also see how those 2 don't fit as well but everything else is good.
I’m very happy with this year so far! I agree with Hellspawn being a little basic (as I too was hoping he would be like a devil in a suit or a con man) but overall, it seems like a lovely set up!
Spirit had definitely improved they are truly the best out of all the companies this year! Also I heard that flying ghost has a mechanism similar to mr dark!

How the theme could’ve been better: 1. If there were a farm theme this year, the Martian Warrior would’ve been a perfect fit (because of the sci-fi trope of aliens invading farms). 2. Have the Crypt Keeper (he’s online, but still) take the MW’s spot in the cemetery.
I wonder if Desmodus could have a swooping down movement, though I don't think it can go forward, it might, and theres more of a chance it'll swoop just down and not a little forward. The only reason I think that this is even possible at all is cause I heard some talk of him seeming a bit more forward from some picture and also bats swoop (lol), either way I think he's awesome looking
I’m wondering which ones will be at the regular stores? I can’t make it to the flagship, but hopefully I will be able to see my favorites like darling dolly and that sheet ghost, but only time will tell.

I collect mars attacks trading cards, mars attacks! (The movie) was based directly on the mars attacks trading cards from 62. Which are way more horrifying than the movie, this card series had continued with a reboot card series and a direct card sequel to that 1962 series. I'm actually super excited that hopefully, maybe they have brought mars attacks stuff up because they realize how truly horrifying the card series is!

The last few years have really blended into one-another, so I'm hoping they'll do something special to differentiate this year. (and for god's sake, I hope they go back to three or more scenes instead of two...) Granted, the props do look pretty good overall.

I could be wrong but I think desmodus is a flasher because there’s a desperate picture that looks like he’s revealing his body but the picture is pretty blurry so there’s no way of telling Either way he’s pretty good

As a Spirit employee, I find it really disappointing that so many photos were leaked. This means it was someone internal that shared everything! I suppose every state does it differently… But we have a very strict policy on ISE displays, only select few are even shown the photos. On the other hand, I can understand the excitement from a customer standpoint. Regardless, it’s pretty disheartening. We work so SO hard to build these stores from the ground up. Those ISEs are a pain to build. 😭
Do you know what I don’t even care that hellspawn is a re-skin of Mr dark because Mr dark was amazing in the other years, so that might mean hellspawn will be great as well we may even change our minds for once we seen him in person Desmodus looks like and I hope will jump out as a jump scare also darling, Dolly looks amazing once she is released online. Everyone is going to go buy her straight away. Also, I think I saw Mr punchy somewhere in this so Mr punchy is going to be in the store.

Spirit finally did it. A theme that makes sense, the scary is back (in a way) and the ANIMATRONICS MAKES SENSE!!! We are in for a great 2023 season 🙌

Idkkk home depots are really good this year. Especially with the facial and head movements on the majority of the props. Spirit never does that lmao
