I see RJ Corman 1973 and 2023 several times a week go by me at work in Lexington, KY. It is quite a sight! Sounds like thunder in the woods! Nice to see them in HO Scale! They usually pull the aluminum ingot cars. One day I will see them heading east/southbound empty towards Berea, KY; the next day I usually see them loaded heading out towards Louisville area. I believe 1973 also has an ear-piercing horn that sounds different than other locomotives. These replaced the Tunnel motors they used to use.
crazy you guys made WP 70's but not NS ones.
Are they going to have truck and walkway lights? Or just the standard headlight ditchlight
Thank you so much Athearn for doing the RJ Corman anniversary units!
Those two PRLX models have been ordered. Thanks again for announcing these great models

What No CSX! We need some more CSX in these .
2.0 or traditional plastic steps and no number board?
NS flared 70Ms would’ve been cool. Or current rebuilt CSX 70MACs
I do not know why Athearn always do western railroads first. No Eastern railroad this time.
