@jevo8534 blatant lie. The 'british' in the North are direct descendants of the planters (ironically) sent here by King James in the 17th century.
Any attempt to claim otherwise is you deliberately telling lies, or, more likely, a lack of knowledge on your part (a hallmark of northern huns)
The Protestants who were in Ireland previously, by and large assimilated into the Irish way of life, hence the reason the ulster plantations happened in the first place.
I know the pro british separatists aren't going anywhere, which will make it all the sweeter when the island is inevitably reunited, their worst nightmare.
As a side note, I doubt it was intentional, but the way you have stated 'northern Irish' reads as you saying you're Irish 😂😂😂😂 once again, I would guess this is due to your apparent braincell deficiency, but for future reference, if you're trying to claim your nationality is that of Northern Ireland, you would say Northern Irish (if its a nationality both parts should be capital letters)
In the future, I'll charge for your history and grammar lessons, but I'll give you these for free, anything to help a fellow Irishman.

Yes, but the loyalist have a different culture which has to be accommodated within the Republic, with the present governance of the Republic this is not achievable. Also the majority of the former Unionist will have to want to become part of the Republic, this will not happen for many more decades yet and when it does probably the sovereign U.K. and Irish Republic will be irrelevant any way. As they will be part of a vast federated super state over several continents.
